Monster Beats by Dr. Dre

The legendary hip-hop icon, along with Monster Cable, brings the bass with these pricey noise-canceling headphones.

Intense low-end boom. Solid noise cancellation. Comfortable and cool-looking. Comes with two cables, one traditional and one with an in-line mic and answer button for use with cell phones.

Expensive. Runs on AAA batteries, rather than rechargeable cells.

Monster's The Beats by Dr. Dre Headphones

The Beats by Dr. Dre headphones from Monster claim to be designed for today's digital music. And you know that product with Grammy Award- winning artist and producer Dr. Dre should handle Hip Hop

noise-cancelling ; rich sound ; very comfortable

can't be used without batteries ; sound leakage issues ; noisy isolation circuit

At the risk of bothering some of you purists out there, I can honestly say that I like Monster's Beats by Dr. Dre. They sound detailed and clean, and enhanced most recordings in way that was pleasing to my ears. They have great isolation qualities that...

Dr. Dre's new cans aren't just the coolest looking noise-cancellers yet – they're serious sonics too…

Powerful, entertaining and very effective – not cheap, but for music addicts with deep pockets, highly recommended

Beats - or not to beat

I got mine on auction site, paid 200. I like my Bose 10 times better. which are lighter on the head and require no batteries, I would give up the supper low and the extra highs for not having batteries and over all weight on the head. after 8hrs of...

good sound, great case, 2 cables, nice packaging box

Requires batteries to listen too (would be nice to have the feature of turning off the noise consolation) ; Battery Life sucks ; you can get white noise when the batteries are dieing on you ; you pick up radio stations while listen to your music

Great Sound

I compared these headphones to 5 or 6 other over ear headsets before spending the money. Yes they cost more but the sound and bass were far superior to other models from Sony and Skull Candy. (Skull Candy's $79.99 model was junk compared to all others)...

The overall sound is stunning

Price of course. You can't use them without the batteries

Another try/ All Hype!

It seems everytime I post a single egg rating newegg refuses to post the review. I rated a product with 5 eggs and it was published in 24 hours. I thought the rational for these posts was to inform the public of good and bad experiences...

sound was OK while they lasted

These are made of very cheap shiney hard plastic and will break within a year. Trust me, mine did with 3 months. The metal clips on the inside of the headband fell out within a month. within three months, the on/off switch died. These were useless...
