Monster iSport Immersion review

In recent years Monster has been known more for its celebrity-endorsed headphones and other products, including a now-defunct partnership with Dr. Dre and Beats . But Monster has also made a quiet push into the wired sports- headphones market with its...

The Monster iSport Immersion In-Ear Headphones offer a very secure fit and impressive sound, as well as a sweatproof design and flat, tangle-resident cord. They also have an integrated iPhone-friendly ControlTalk inline remote with volume controls, and...

For some people, these earphones' noise isolation may shut out too much of the outside world. Also, if you can't get a tight seal, bass response won't be as good.

The iSport Immersion headphones rank among the best wired in-ear sports headphone models out there in terms of fit and sound quality.

Dell XPS Gen 5

If you are ready for high-end computing and don't mind the big-ticket price, the Dell XPS Gen 5 should absolutely be at the top of your list.

Too many to list, but here are a couple—dual-core processor and dual TV tuners.

Case is difficult to work on when upright. Neither TV tuner is HD.

The addition of the 955X chipset and the dual-core Pentium EE 840 to a Media Center system makes the top-of-the-line Dell Dimension XPS Gen 5 a powerful high-end gaming and multimedia system worthy of its Editors' Choice.

Monster iSport Immersion In-Ear Headphones Review

Not a good sport.

Decent audio, flat cables make it easy to store and don't get tangled easily, washable

In-ear clips don't fit properly (depends form person to person), will always need to fiddle around with clips, in-line remote control snags at collars

It’s hard to recommend the Monster iSport Immersion headphones unless you get a chance to try them on. Without the SportClip, the iSport is just another pair of in-ear headphones of which there are many others, and better verities out in the market. If...

Monster iSport Immersion In-Ear Headphones with ControlTalk Review

I enjoy listening to motivational music while working out. But due to the intensity of my fitness routine at the gym or while pounding pavement, I am very tough/rough on my earbuds. I have trashed many a pair over the decades. Not through abuse or...

Well built/constructed ; Very durable ; Waterproof ; Customizable and comfortable ; Blue/Red rings to differentiate right & left earbuds ; ControlTalk button, remote control w/mic ; Great carrying pouch

Expensive ; Could include a longer, more black & white warranty

I have used the Monster iSport Immersion In-Ear Headphones a dozen times over the past month or so. They are definitely the best sounding and most durable sports/workout earbuds I have every used. Monster calls them ‘The Athelete’s Headphones‘ and I...

Monster iSport Immersion review

Less pleasingly, sound quality was a bit of an issue, particularly for bass-heavy music. The disco track in our testing playlist sounded like it was coming out of a teenager's mobile phone: weedy, tinny and totally lacking in bass punch.

The iSport headphones fit well and didn’t fall out throughout testing; they also look great and have the build quality to stand up to rigorous workouts. But the sound quality, among the most important parts of our testing, was a disappointment....
