Motorola Bluetooth Headset H710

 

The H710 looks to continue Moto's success with Bluetooth headsets. The H710 incorporates Multipoint access letting users connect several compatible devices simultaneously.

Attractive and small headset. Mulitpoint dual-pairing feature. Cool flip-out boom microphone.

Achieving pairing mode is harder than it should be. Would not be discovered by Sony Ericsson phones. Performed dismally with Nokia handsets.

We found pairing the H710 irksome and using the headset patchy to say the least. It's a shame such a sexy hands-free device should be let down by such lousy performance.

Caution

 

Previous headset batter worked for 1.5-2 years

The main advantage is positive on/off switch (folding boom) ; I find this design comfortable and easy on the eyes

The H710 headsets Newegg is selling now (October-November 2009) seem to be coming from bad batch. The first headset was DOA - battery was not taking charge. The replacement headset loses charge overnight ; I suspect that Newegg is aware of the issues...

Should have listened to the other reviews on here, doesn't seem like Newegg has any working 710s in stock for a long time now. Item was DOA, sent in RMA and we'll see how the next one is.

Awful, it never paired!

 

I have owned this bluetooth, I loved it but my wife had misplaced it so I ordered another one. This bluetooth must have been refurbished well.... It was STILL BROKEN. Seems to be that New Eggs H710's aren't very good anymore huh?
