Samsung Mini MiniBlue Bluetooth Headset review: Samsung Mini MiniBlue Bluetooth Headset

When we first saw the Motorola H9 Miniblue earlier this year, we thought it was the smallest Bluetooth headset we've ever seen. Samsung, however, has recently launched a Bluetooth headset that's just as tiny. Called the Samsung WEP500, this minuscule...

The Samsung WEP500 is a tiny lightweight Bluetooth headset with excellent performance and easy-to-use controls. It also comes with a portable charging case.

The Samsung WEP500 has unfortunate button placement, and the lack of an ear hook may deter some people. You can't charge the headset without the case. It is also rather expensive.

The Samsung WEP500 is a small Bluetooth headset that has a great fit as well as excellent sound quality.

Motorola H9 Miniblue review

We've seen some tiny Bluetooth headsets come our way here at CNET, but few are smaller than the appropriately named Motorola H9 Miniblue. This diminutive headset first debuted at CES 2006 under the name H5 Miniblue, but Motorola decided to relaunch it...

The Motorola H9 Miniblue Bluetooth headset is tiny and weighs less than an ounce. Its buttons are easy to press, and the headset fits very securely in the ear. Audio quality is decent, and it even comes with a portable charging base that adds hours to...

The Motorola H9 Miniblue Bluetooth headset has a flanged eartip that fits very deeply in the ear, which could prove uncomfortable for some people.

Though a bit expensive, the Motorola H9 Miniblue Bluetooth is compact and lightweight, and it has great audio quality. It also comes with a handy portable charging base.

"I have used the same WEP500 since 2008 and love it."

The samsung button is worth every penny and has connected to my sony, blackberry, motorola & pantech cellphones. I've had many phones and only 1 earpc. I've always heard great sound quality and my callers gets great reception just from me speaking with...

I've dropped it several time still works perfectly. Talk time is great. I now own 2 since 2009 and keep 1 charging because I talk a lot. Most people can't tell I'm driving, and some can depending on their device. I can whisper and you still hear me.

Depending on your friends earpiece, phone or location you may get weird noises from you or them. But it ends after noisy earpc is powerdown & on again. I got a 3rd when my friend couldn't pair it to her I-phone. The Cord to the cradle wears out.

Great Value poor quality

Great form factor and small size. Fits nicely in the ear.Battery capacity small and need to carry around the portablecharger. Sound quality is poor where it underperforms hence the 2.
