Plantronics GameCom 377

Well-built, extendable and flexible microphone, microphone tucks into headband

Other people will be able to hear what you're listening to at medium and high volumes

The Plantronics GameCom 377 gaming headset is well-built and has a cleverly designed microphone that tucks into the headband. It may be a bad choice if you want to keep what you're listening to private.

Not made to last

Wireless headsets provide you freedom of mobility, sure. But you're trading in the ability to be able to talk constantly for that mobility. Keep that in mind. If you don't mind buying one of these every few years or so, get it.

Great sound quality. Powerful microphone picks up everything. Headset feels comfortable and ear cups block out unwanted noise.

It fits the definition of "delicate electronics". I'm not rough with my electronics so there was no problem with me having them. Also, the charging cord is too short. I've owned this product for four years and it now takes more time to charge than I...

Awesome!

Working still and has been for 6 years! Bought this because the cord is really strong, and the cord is usually the first thing ti give.

Hurts your ears after a while wearing them. i guess any headphone would

Some electrical tape has kept the headset together for about a year now, but I think it's time for a new headset. This is my second Plantronics headset; the first lasted me about 3 years. While they worked, they were great, but I'm certainly...

Good sound quality, comfortable

About two years after I bought this headset, one of the adjustable bars snapped (the outer housing that's attached to the ear piece) ; I didn't think I was bending the headset in any way that would cause undue stress, but maybe my head is too wide or...

Still Works

I bought this thing in 2010 for just over $20 and the blasted thing still works. And it still sounds great. The actual posts on the jacks are starting to bend slightly from being used so much, and it still pumps out great sound just like the day it...

Great sound Great pickup on the mic Relatively sturdy Very well constructed

Mic isn't always easy to tuck into the nook for it The nook for the mic is weaker than the corresponding area on the other side.

best purchase I have ever made

They have lasted excellently. I got these around when Wrath of the Lich King launched (six years ago) and they have had perfect quality the entire time, withstanding high school as well as dorm situations. While I'm not an audiophile by any means, the...

The mic's a bit too sensitive and tends to pick up on breathing. While this is usually fixable with software sensitivity or push-to-talk it can be annoying the size-adjusting band always feels a bit flimsy, although I haven't broken it yet

Junk build quality

Worked pretty nicely until they broke. Twice.

Started falling apart after perhaps 3 months. Sent back to Plantronics and they sent another headset. 10 months later and the headband broke. (You can read more about it at the Plantronics forum: http://soundingboard.plantronics.com/message/41034#41034...

Can't beat them for the price

Excellent sound, I actually like the sound more than my friends G35's! The mic is also very good. Surprisingly durable despite the cheap-looking construction, I have dropped them countless times and they have yet to break, and again, they have lasted...

The mic pics up sound from the headset if I have the volume up high, which can be annoying.
