Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Review

Balanced sound with strong bass. ; Relatively affordable.

Lack in-canal seal. ; Mediocre battery life. ; Awkward controls. ; IPX4 rating doesn't provide much water resistance.

Despite the lack of a strong ear seal, the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless earphones deliver surprisingly good audio for the price.

Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2021 Review

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2021 are the next generation of the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2019. They improve upon their predecessor since they now ha...

Good recording quality. Graphic EQ and presets available. Well-built and rated IPX4 for water resistance. Easy to use control scheme.

4.7-hour continuous battery life. Terrible passive soundstage. No multi-device pairing.

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless are mediocre for neutral sound. Their flattest EQ preset, 'Custom', has a bass-heavy sound profile, which adds intense boom to your mixes while vocals and lead instruments are dark and veiled. While this may sound...

Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2019 Review

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless 2019 are truly wireless headphones with an onboard 'Gaming Mode' function for low latency via Bluetooth. They're decently well...

Compact design. Stable in-ear fit. Consistent audio reproduction. Decently sturdy construction. Low levels of audio leakage.

Very limited sound customization via companion app. Somewhat uncomfortable fit. Short continuous battery life. Middling mic recording quality and noise handling capability. Bad noise isolation capability.

The Razer Hammerhead True Wireless Bluetooth gaming earbuds are passable for neutral sound. Their default sound profile is very bass-heavy, which can clutter and muddy vocals and lead instruments. Like most in-ears, they also have a poor passive...

Razer Hammerhead True Wireless review: AirPod alternatives for gamers

True wireless headphones are a trend this year that no one can resist. Razer's Hammerhead are especially aimed at gamers.

Comparatively favorable ; Good wearing comfort ; Very high maximum volume

Gaming Mode not audible ; Battery life is only average

Who are the Razer Hammerhead True Wireless headphones for? For those who have been looking for AirPod-like headphones but would like to have them in black, the Hammerheads may be a cheap alternative. Fans of the Razer brand also want wireless...

Unimpressed By Sound Quality

Obviously, I cannot recommend this product.

For many, many years, I have used Razer earbuds, & for the last...probably five years, it's been the Moray line. I had a number of pairs, but eventually the delicate rubber that creates the bud became ripped in every one, & the replacement...

-The sound was terrible. The only thing I can compare it to is when I have music or what not running through my laptops cheap speakers. Tinny, tinny, tinny. Treble overload, bass nearly non-existent. I messed about with my equalizer, but cranking the...
