cheap headphones

My pair was defective, but I am not surprised given the general low quality of this set. Even at $30, I expected more.

more bass than expected ; decent sound for the price ; ok at insulating against outside noise

Flimsy for Sennheiser gear

The pair of HD-280 I have owned (and loved) for years was finally falling apart so I bought these as a lower-cost and more portable option. The sound quality is decent but the flimsy & sloppy construction doesn't look like it will hold up to much wear...

Decent sound quality for price ; Good bass response. I listen to music that has a fair amount of bass (hip-hop, drum n bass, house) and I got a good bass response ; comfort level = OK. Earcups are padded in leather/leatherette

Don't bother

The item's plastic packaging is quite annoying to have to cut open.

Cheap

Cheap... and they sound like it. Overall the sound is very quiet, and there is zero bass. I'm amazed that Sennheiser even makes such a lousy product. Will be returning them immediately and looking to buy more expensive headphones
