Sennheiser HD 229 Review

 

Sennheiser has been in the Audio Electronics industry for almost half a decade. The name Sennheiser became a staple brand in the audiophile community for manufacturing one of the best sounding headphones without your wallet screaming at you like a madman.

Sennheiser throws off the shackles of its colour swabs to bring us its new loud, colourful and proud version of the classic HD 228.

Great little headphones for working out

 

I got these on sale and for the money they are a good quality set of headphones.

Light weight and very comfortable on the ears. Bright coloring makes them easy, not to lose. Good sound quality for almost any taste in music. The true fit blocks out much of the ambient noise, even though they have no noise cancelling technology

Settling in nicely

 

Smaller than you'd expect, these lads, but that's no crime. Out of the box, they seemed very short of response at the subterranean bass end (e.g. synth) -- though fine for bass guitars and orchestral music. However, the plastic over the earpads softens...

Bought these for my daughter for Christmas, she love's them. They are very comfortable on the ears which was important as she has them permanently attached. The lead is a good length and she's happy with the sound quality. Most importantly I can't hear...
