These cheap Sennheiser headphones may be gaudy, but they're sturdy and sound decent

Reasonable build quality, good mid-bass extension

Gaudy ear-cup finish, slightly awkward design

Sennheiser's HD 438 is a pair of sturdily built PC gaming headphones with good bass extension — useful for action gaming and some types of music. If you can get past the awkward headband and ugly ear-cups, these headphones are a good buy.

Sennheiser HD 438

 

The HD 438 just falls shy of a fully immersive audio experience, but these mid-range headphones are very comfortable for the home listener.

Incredibly comfortable ; Good treble and vocal response ; Different cable lengths included

No volume control on headphone lead ; Bass isn't as heavy or deep as stated on the box

The HD 438 comes with a two-year warranty and offer a pretty good listening experience for AU$149.95 as long as you don't expect heavy bass response.

These headphones might look all shiny and cool and bling bling, but Senheiser LIE THROUGH THEIR TEETH on the delivery. The volume response is terrible (all of my tracks are boosted to twice the output), for me to listen comfortably i have to pump these...
