Sennheiser HD 448

The Sennheiser HD 448 is a set of headphones that is balanced for the most part, but if you're looking for articulated bass then this isn't your stop.

Detailed mids and highs ; Good noise isolation ; Cable extender included

Boomy bass ; Can get quite warm in there

While you could wear these on public transport they're probably best suited to listening at home or work. While they're not the ultimate in high fidelity the sound is even-handed enough to cater to listening to CD and vinyl as well.

Newegged!!

They are very comfortable. I like the forward headband that rests slightly forward of the traditional position. Sealed cups. I can't hear what I don't want to hear and she can't hear me. Great sound reproduction. Balanced, not overly bright or bass...

My 448 headphones sit in the closet

(4+4+0)/3 = 2.67 stars The bass was so lacking, I didn't use the set at all. It now sits in the closet to prove that I've once owned a hyped up Sennheiser headphone set and would never again.

Treble: 4 stars ; Mid: 4 stars

Bass: 0 star

Prettty awesome! Very comfortable.

No instruction manual, but headphones should be pretty self explanatory I guess

Have had for a few weeks now, and I must say they're a pleasure to wear. Cushions go completely over and around your ears so there's no pressure directly on your ears (My ears are small though, but I don't think anyone should have a problem unless...

If you turn your head entirely to the left or to the right too far the cushions might leak a little outside sound to your ears. Otherwise they're fine

My 4th one from Sennheiser

Bought it at $50 which was a must buy. For those who are contemplating on this, go for it. It looks nicer, better cord quality, sound high and crisp and can wear it for hours without any discomfort (other than the occasion sweat building up)

Upgrade this from a HD-428 mainly for it's cord length. The sound is beautiful all around and extremely comfortable to the ear. As mention, the cord is only 4.6 feet as compare to the 428 which is 10 foot long...That's twice of me a bit, so this is...

Bass is always a lack of in Sennheiser products. Quality of the build may bring up risk but should stay sturdy if you keep it safe. The cord end is also a straight plug-in rather than a L twist. This could be a problem as people like me tend to put...

Sennheiser HD 448 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Around-Ear Stereo Headphone

Wish I would have had these when we were shooting. Really wanna kick my sound guy right now.

I wouldn't call myself an audiophile, but I've mixed for live bands, in a medium scale venue that included a number of high profile tribute bands. For the price, these headphones are great. They may not be the equivalent of monitoring speakers, but the...

Bad at blocking outside noise; but once you get some music going or the volume turned up, you tend not to notice it

Great heaphones

Great sound throughout the spectrum. I tried the Klipsch Image ONE's not too long ago and they were absolute trash and I'm a Klipsch fanboy (have a full 7.1 setup with F-3's, C-3's, B-3's, and S-3's with the 12" sub), so I've been on the hunt for a...

None, really. Great sounding cans

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Sounds great, very comfortable.

1. LIGHTWEIGHT. Some may consider this a con as the headphones do feel as though they will break if handled without care. However, they're so light and comfortable I can barely tell I'm wearing them after hours of use ; 2. Sounds entirely decent,...

1. As some others have mentioned, the sound isn't QUITE as crisp and clear as some alternatives right out of the box. I've used mine for a total of 10 hours or so and I have noticed slight improvements in quality. After 40+ hours and the materials...
