Sennheiser PC 140 and PC 150 headsets

Headsets - headphones with a boom microphone - are, as I've mentioned before, easy enough to find, and usually quite nasty. It seems to be generally assumed that people who need a headset do not also need decent audio quality

worse than either of these headsets, and seem satisfied enough. If you're not a headphone snob, you'll probably be quite happy with the sound of either of these

Sennheiser PC140 headset

Sennheiser, famous for high quality cans and choice of DJs worldwide, offers a hands-free approach to chatting to your computer with this set of headphones and microphone built into one.

DVD, MP3 & sound card compatible, noise cancelling microphone and ergonomic neckband

Gone are the wide foam covered ear pieces from the HD series and there are cheaper alternatives for 3-in1s out there

A more stylish entry into a rapidly growing genre, previously marred by call centre staff and nightclub bouncers. This unit is comfortable, but cheaper alternatives are available. Although it's worth the little extra if you like the ergonomic style of...

PC 140 Supra-aural

Overall good microphone / headset. If you have the money, try to avoid this headset, gets uncomfortable to wear.

Long cord, easy use, windows automatically detected my device

Uncomfortable to wear after long periods of time. Also, at times while using MSN messenger or Yahoo it suddenly cut off and stop working until I restart the messenger. Software error

Comfortable Standard

I use these with an X-Fi Platinum card, which probably helps the recording and playback quality a lot. While I use them for gaming and think they are fine, they are not the best if you're concerned about hearing every little detail.

Surprisingly comfortable as most behind-the-head sets I've had were too tight, but these feel great even after a few hours. Perfect mic reproduction, especially with the foam baffle. Crystal clear on Ventrilo. Money well spent

None that I can find. I got them mainly for voice chat online

SENNHEISER PC 140 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Headset

Due to my use of professional gear often, my standards were set very high though the sound quality did not meet those expectations it is adequate for most uses.

The microphone boom is placed well. The headband doesn't clamp down hard on your ears

The sound.... Well I expected much better from sennheiser. If you try and put the over ear headband behind your ears they will rub them raw since there are some sharp molding edges on the bottome of the headband right where it goes over your ears. If...

Awesome Deal

Good quality mic and audio. Can go loud without any static. Fits rather comfortably. Perfect sized cord for what I need. I mean PERFECT! Haha

Very slightly uncomfortable after long periods of time. But really once you readjust it on your head you forget all about it

Don't buy this

Going to buy a self stand microphone from Logitech. I do recommend Newegg.com for products, great customer service.

This microphone has no pros

I got the microphone and it worked great for 20 - 30 minutes, super clear. After that time is over it will start to make beeping sounds and die ; Also the headset is very uncomfortable to wear

Good for the price!

So far I'm glad I bought these. Excellent value, and as long as you don't use them for long periods of time, they are fairly comfortable.

The sound out of these is amazing--much better than any other supra-aural headset I've had. It's very light and flexible, and the behind-the-head design doesn't mess up your hair. The microphone works well too; excellent quality for its size

Though light and flexible, it is also somewhat flimsy, and gives the impression that it could be easily broken. It also gets somewhat uncomfortable, but only after using them for a long time

Amazing headset!!

Buy this! I use this for music, games, and webcamming. I love it! Worth every penny I spent on it.

From the moment I put these on, I knew this headset was well worth the $30! The sound quality is great for it's price. The volume switch makes things easy when I listen to music. The chord is very long, which is a big plus for me because my computer...

It wasn't free. Other than that none

Clear sounds

No static in the in-line volume control.

The drivers on these headsets are decent, providing a clear sound, better than previous low-end Logitech headsets I've had. The microphone is good as well, the flexible boom and flexible headband make it more comfortable to wear versus over-the-head...

Nothing to be overjoyed at, these drivers aren't as clear as a older set of Altec-Lansing headsets I've had
