Sennheiser PMX-100

The Sennheiser PMX-100 is a street-style version of the best low-end headphones out there.

Excellent sound quality. Lightweight. Comfortable on the ears. Cable is on left earphone only.

Round neckband looks awkward on narrower heads. Neckband doesn't fold.

Buying Guide: Headphones That Rock!

The Sennheiser PX-100 headphones are widely recognized as one of the best things ever to happen to low-end audio. But if you didn't like their over-the-head design-maybe because it messed up your hair, or it just didn't look hip enough-take heart:...

Excellent sound quality. Lightweight. Comfortable on the ears. Cable is on left earphone only.

Round neckband looks awkward on narrower heads. Neckband doesn't fold.

The Sennheiser PMX-100, a street-style version of the best low-end headphones out there, sounds just as good as the over-the-head model, but the design is a matter of personal preference.

Uncomfy

I like to listen to whatever while at work. Thats two 4 hour shifts of constant headphone use. This is my first experience with behind the neck headphones, and I am not a fan. I am going to switch back to over the ear headphones.

These headphones do their job, they allow you to listen to whatever you want at whatever volume you want, and not bother anyone else. There is very little to no sound leakage from these things. The sound range was also very good

Not very comfy. The ear clips hurt after a while, and I just couldn't find that spot they could sit and be comfy all day

SENNHEISER PMX100 3.5mm Connector Supra-aural Headphone

These are tough little headphones...I recomend these to anyone looking for quatliy on a budget

Great sound quality and they can take quite a beating

The thing that goes around the ear gets rather unfomfortable for during long periods of having them on ; Also around the sixth month mark that I had them the shielding right next to the jack came loose, exposing the wires...I covered the exposure with...

Great quality, slightly uncomfortable

I got these after the cord stripped on my previous pair. Before I had the same headphones, but the over-the-head, foldable model instead. I figured I'd get these since less moving parts usually means less breaking. The only reason I give 4 stars is...

Sounds very good. I'm no audiophile, but to my ears they give a very full sound

I personally find them somewhat uncomfortable after a while, but I think it's the ear clip design in general that bugs me, not the headphones themselves

Great headphones - Lousy cord

My advice would be to IMMEDIATELY do SOMETHING to strengthen this area as soon as you get these.. only other thought is that they are very loud to those around you. I have to play my music pretty low on the subway or else I'll notice people moving away...

Okay I have to say that the sound quality on these is excellent. So good for their kind and price range that I am possibly considering ordering a second pair to replace the first pair that just broke due to what I'll cover in the following Cons

I had these headphones for about 7 months and the durability is excellent besides the extremely shoddy cord connection. Mine started to fray on its own in about 3 months and eventually just got worse and worse until it finally only played in one ear

Great sound quality, but

I'm going to return it, and try PX100 instead.

The audio quality is quite decent. Bass, mid and high are well-balanced, but

The ear clip still uncomfortable for me. Maybe it just me, since I can't be satisfied with any other designs from other brand as well (the ear-clip design) ; It fits properly, but after an hour, you can feel pain on your upper ears when you moving the...

Top notch headphones

I hate earbuds. These are a perfect replacement for those of you out there like me. And I know you are out there, no matter what the iPod ads would have us think.

Deep bass, clear sound - none of the mids get lost in the bass or treble - comfortable, lightweight, look good, and so far they seem durable. I'm a DJ and music producer, so consider that high praise

Be careful if your player's native OS allows for extreme bass settings, or if you are using Rockbox. The EQ in Rockbox allows for extreme bass levels (at least in the Sansa e280). The bass in a couple of techno tracks made me think the diaphragms might...
