Sennheiser PXC 300

Sennheiser's compact, foldable PXC 300 headphones are perfect for traveling. They're comfortable and sturdy, and they offer a highly effective noise-canceling feature for airline flights.

Very comfortable on-ear headphones; highly effective noise-canceling circuitry; lightweight design; folds for compact storage; sturdy travel pouch; two-year warranty.

Maximum volume is somewhat limited compared with other headphones.

Sennheiser's featherweight noise-canceling headphones are supercomfy and produce sound quality approaching that of some full-size models.

Sennheiser PXC-300 Noise Canceling Headphones Review

One thing we all know is that notebook speakers are never that great, and sometimes awful. A good set of external speakers are nice while at a desk, but on the go you'll need a great pair of headphones to get the desired audio quality you want. Our...

Sennheiser PXC 300 Noise-canceling Headphones

Cancels out ambient nose for the best listening experience

The active noise-canceling feature provided by these headphones removes all environmental noise. The sound quality provided by the headphones is quite good, with superior definition of bass

It is hard to increase the volume of these headphones as much as you would like. These headphones are quite expensive when compared to similar models on the market. A slight hiss from the equipment is audible when there is a low amount of external noise

As with all Sennheiser headphones, this model is aimed at giving consumers the best there is. Thanks to advanced active noise-cancellation and superior audio quality, the Sennheiser PXC 300 provides the greatest solution that any discerning audio...

Sennheiser PXC 300 headphones Review and Prices

The market for noise-canceling headphones was once dominated by a single company, but over the past few years, other manufacturers have caused a stir in that monopoly by producing exceptional products of their own. One stellar example is Sennheiser's...

An excellent choice for those who like the noise reduction feature, but the bulky battery pack is a major disadvantage.

Foldable, very comfortable, good quality sound, noise reduction

Ears become hot after prolonged use, lacks bass, battery pack bulky and heavy

Sennheiser PXC 300 noise cancelling headphones

Sennheiser believes it has a cheaper alternative to those who want to cancel out noise and can't stretch to the price of highly impressive Bose QuietComfort 2 or 3, but can the headphone company do it with the PXC 300? We take a closer look. Supplied...

Foldable design, compact, light, sound good

Battery tube, cable gets in the way

Supplied with two adaptors for in-flight entertainment systems (adaptors: 1/4" (6.3mm) stereo jack and 3.5mm double mono jack) on the surface the Sennheiser PXC 300 headphones look like a good deal, they offer a performance almost as good as the Bose...

Sennheiser PXC-300

It packs almost the same performance as the Bose QuietComfort 2 in a much smaller package and at about half the price.

Great noise cancelling ; Foldable design ; Good sound quality

Cumbersome battery pack ; Tendency to amplify ambient noise

Battery pack VERY awkward

It's easy to forget to turn the unit off which allows the batteries to drain. Although the batteries seem to last pretty well under normal use, I find myself having to constantly replace them because I forgot to turn the unit off. An automatic shutoff...

Good sound quality, comfortable, decent noise cancellation (not B*se quality but it wasn't $300 either)

Extremely awkward battery pack. I purchased this headset for use at work with my desktop computer. My computer sits on the floor under my desk and the cable is too short to use the headset comfortably ; The battery pack (two AAA) is about 40" (102cm)...

SENNHEISER PXC 300 3.5mm/ 6.3mm Connector Supra-aural Active Noise Cancelling Headphone

This product exceeded my expectations! Worth the price.

very comfortable for long periods of use, compact size for travel, works well at reducing engine noise on transatlantic flight when seated over wing (doesn't eliminate all noise, but makes it very tolerable), good at blocking voices and construction...

exterior battery/cancelling unit sometimes a little awkward, but the resulting performance is worth this minor inconvenience
