Sennheiser RS 140 Wireless Headphones

All-round great wireless headphones

Thanks to wireless technology, you can use these headphones away from the audio device you are playing audio on. Sound quality is quite superior to that of any other types of headphones. Virtual surround sound technology helps to maintain a realistic...

You could get slightly hot and uncomfortable around the ears when wearing these headphones for a long time at a stretch. These headphones are quite expensive when compared to contemporary models

Sennheiser has done it yet again with this pair of wireless headphones which provides the best sound quality possible along with auto tuning capabilities for wireless and extraordinary comfort. Provided along with a smart transmitter that will...

Sennheiser RS140 Wireless RF Headset

These are an expensively simple proposition, as is usually the case with Sennheiser.

Sennheiser RS140 Wireless Headphones Review

A good pair of wireless headphones is still relatively hard to come by. That's not to say there aren't many options about, but it's fair to say that plenty of them suffer from problems that their wired counterparts seldom encounter. So, as you can...

I have not come into contact with many wireless headphones in the past, but I can safely say that the Sennheiser RS140 Wireless Headphones set is far superior to any I have tried. The price, though seemingly steep, is actually quite a modest £109 on...

Great wireless headphones RS-140s

We have two of these in our RV. In the past, it was tough to hear the TV with all the road noise while enroute. Plus, as the driver, I'd rather not hear whats on the TV while I'm driving along. So we have two bases.. two headphones. One for the back...

The sound quality is great as far as TV viewing goes. I haven't used them for music yet, but I expect music to be good too. I really don't hear any significant hiss. An occasional pop in dead silence, but that's even rare. I only mention it because...

Not really any cons. These aren't the lowest priced wireless headphones, but I think they are worth the price. I prefer these "Closed" headphones versus the Open air models, even though these cost more ; Some said they were bulky, but I didn't think...

Alright, but expensive

I still use them, just set them up with the comp/reciver/tv volume up all the way and then tune down the volume on the headset and it minimizes the ambiant hiss, but i still get interference from other devices, AKA monitor/computer. In my opinion they...

Good sound quality and fairly flat response when set up correctly (Flat = good when it comes to speakers/headphones, it means all frequencies are equally represented by the speaker/circuitry.) Very good range, i get limited reception out side my brick...

As others have posted there is a hiss that is created by RF interference. I often get crackles and large amounts of static depending on how the headphones face the reciever which can be VERY annoying. Although from what ive read about others there...

Very good quality

Worth the price but this is my first set of good wireless headphones.

Sound is great. Great range all over my small house, even through many walls into the garage. Excellent battery life for generic rechargeables

Not too comfortable to lay down in bed watching TV. Bulky. Expensive

Good for the genre

Best of the bunch - had 3 other wireless headphones, mostly sub-$50 types, these were far superior, and actually useable. Very convenient to use, having the recharger integrated in the stand means they're always ready when I need them

Enjoyment depends on usage - I use them for gaming, so there's long periods of relative quiet where the hiss is noticable. And the Auto off "feature" is kinda a pain. It seems to kick in more often than I'd like

Pretty good...

These headphones are pretty good. The SNR ratio on them is pretty high, and you will hear constant hissing with them. The hissing is really bad when you first turn them on, but tones down a bit after use. But it is always still there. The auto turn off...

Wireless, good recharging system, long operating time

High SNR, Auto turn off, Interference

Very disappointed.

I bought these because they were the top of the line wireless headphones from Sennheiser. I am very disappointed in them.

Comfortable, attractive design, long battery life

Poor wireless reception, background hiss, expensive
