Shure SE215 Wireless in-ear headphones review

Shure's versatile, comfortable SE215 Wireless will draw you deeper into your favorite tunes.

Vibrant, detailed sound. ; Earbuds fit securely and comfortably ; Replaceable cable ; Intuitive controls

Neckband can be slightly awkward ; Securing or taking off earbuds is time consuming

Excellent sound, a great fit, and detachable cables help rank Shure’s SE215 Wireless among our favorite wireless earbuds in their class.

Shure SE215 earphones review

These middle-of-the-road earphones perform well in certain situations, but pack too much bass for their own good.

Shure SE215 Wireless

The Shure SE215 Wireless earphones offers some of the best in-ear Bluetooth audio performance available under $200.

Excellent audio performance. Super-secure in-ear fit, with some passive noise reduction. Removable/replaceable audio cable.

No extra cable included. Mediocre mic quality.

The Shure 215 Wireless earphones are essentially a modular system with both wired and wireless operation if you buy the $30 wired cable accessory. Even at that price—$180—it's a good deal, and no matter how you look at it, these are easily some of the...

Review: Shure SE215

Search the headphone forum and read the gadget blogs. You'll find many fans of the Shure SE215 earbuds. The praise is deserved -- they do...

Great sound. Cables detach and are replaceable if they wear out. Lots of tip options in the box

They aren’t the most comfortable buds in the bin. Finding the correct seal and fit takes a lot of patience. No remote or microphone, so you’ll be de-pocketing your mobile more often

Shure SE215

For merely $119, the Shure SE215 has no business sounding this good—and its replaceable cable means it should last longer than typical hard-wired models.

Excellent audio performance—solid clarity and bass without over-boosting. Replaceable cable. Includes six different sizes of ear tips.

Fit becomes loose if over-ear wire isn't strongly secured.

Shure SE215 HEADPHONES

The Shure SE215 are decent critical listening in-ears that perform better than the higher-end models in the same lineup. They have almost an identical design to the and but do not come with as many accessories. On the upside, they have a...

Minimal leakage and great noise isolation. ; Durable build quality. ; Stable and portable design.

No controls. ; No extra cable in the box.

Shure SE215 Earphones (Playback 52)

Marketing, public relations pros, and, yes, even journalists, tend to neglect the middle-priced products in most manufacturers' lines. It's easy to understand why. Budget-priced products can be praised for their value, and top-of-the-line items can be...

Shure SE215

They look like the top-end SE535, but can they compete on sound?

Powerful, thud-tastic bass, Wide soundstage, Class-leading cable quality

Not the most detailed treble

Shure SE215 review

If you are after a bassy flavour the hard-wearing Shure SE215s could be just the thing

Pro build and features ; rich, weighty sound ; good mid/bass detail

Not as driving or sparkly as we'd like, thanks to that rich character

Shure’s top-end features filter down to an affordable level

Shure SE215 review

Excellent midrange in-ear headphones for a bargain

Understated design ; Affordable ; Personalized comfort ; Vibrant sound

Lacks in-line controls ; Slight learning curve

Looking to step up your earphone game on a budget? The Shure SE215 deliver stunning sound and personalized comfort at an entry-level price. It's one of the best deals out there.
