Sony MDR-10RNC

The Sony MDR-10RNC noise-cancelling headphones eliminate much of the ambient noise around you, but their audio performance isn't quite on par with the competition.

Quality active noise cancellation. Can output audio in passive mode. Includes two detachable audio cables including one with inline remote and mic. Very comfortable.

Audio needs more presence in high-mids and highs. No auto power-off feature. Runs on AAA battery rather than rechargeable option.

The Editors' Choice Bose QuietComfort 20 is actually an in-ear option, and while it's a game changer, there are other options if you want to stay with headphones. The Bose QuietComfort 15 is still an fantastic product, and the AKG K 490 NC offers...

Sony MDR-10RNC Review

Comfortable ; Effective noise cancellation ; Plays music with or without power

Subpar sound ; No volume buttons on inline controller

Very good noise cancellation and comfort may be plenty for many users, though we do wish these cans sounded better.

Sony MDR-10RNC headphones Review

This is clearly a case of an impressive beginning, and then things not carrying forward from there. We always clarify that any reviews related to sound are extremely subjective, and in the case of the MDR-10RNC, there are some positives and equally...

Sony MDR-10RNC Noise Cancelling Headphones Review

Light and stylish, the Sony MDR-10RNC is one big pair of comfortable headphones that have very impressive noise cancellation capability. It is available at a price of Rs. 14,990.

• Ultra comfortable ; • Active noise cancellation ; • On-cable MIC and phone controls

• Dull in Passive mode ; • Can’t be folded

Light and stylish, the Sony MDR-10RNC is one big pair of comfortable headphones that you can put ON for long. Its noise cancelling capability is able to steer off much of the ambient noise weather you are surrounded by loud unstoppable mouths or...

Sony MDR-10RNC

The Sony MDR-10RNC noise-cancelling headphones eliminate much of the ambient noise around you, but their audio performance isn't quite on par with the competition.

In powered mode, tracks with serious sub-bass content like the Knife’s “Silent Shout” get a healthy amount of low frequency presence from the MDR-10RNC at top volume levels and without distortion. In passive mode, with the noise cancellation circuitry...

Best Headphones I've Ever Owned

Excellent sound and noise cancelling. One thing that I was looking for was a detachable stereo cable so that I could use it just for noise cancelling. Also, I wanted ones that I could use regular batteries. Finish quality is top notch on headphones and...

I was happy with the headset for the first two months and maybe because I only used it then for conference calls and the likes. But this month, I signed up for pandora and then realized that the headset would only work in certain directions. Even with...

Great Investment!

Pros: great sound quality, very comfortable, noise canceling works really well with lower fz noises. Cons: slight hiss when NC is on, voices and other fz altering noises still get through. This is an over all great headphone. Sound Quality: The sound...

Very pleased

I've been very pleased with these headphones over the past year. They're durable and work well to cancel out noise. I used them on a recent plane ride and they worked perfectly - no noise, even from the crying baby a few rows back.
