Sony MDR-AS40EX

The MDR-AS40EX is a great choice for the gym—primarily because it's so affordable.

Reasonably priced. Crisp, clean audio delivery. Multiple fit options for secure ear placement. Ideal for the gym.

Lacks deep bass. Over-ear solution is a bit awkward.

Sony Active Style MDR-AS40EX Headphones

These phones were the earclip category's most comfortable choice. They fit like in-ear buds with the additional security of behind-the-ear clips. The earphones also have a moisture guard around them to defend against water. The cord, which has in-line...

Interchangeable buds and ear hooks ; weighty, clear sound

Can sound a touch bright at the top

Anyone can achieve a good fit with these comfortable headphones. They sound good in action, too

Love Them but they break

this was my 3rd set. I love them but will not keep buying them. This last set lasted less than 3 months before the sound stopped coming from the right ear piece. None have lasted past 10 months.

Best Headphones I have ever had

I spent about $800 looking for a decent sound quality headphone that would stay on me while running regardless of speed. I finally purchased this pair and I wont look at anything else. They have been washed and dried with my clothes, several times, and...

Great!...as long as they're still working

I absolutely love these headphones! The sound is great. They stay in place while I'm running. They are great for connecting to an iPod (with the short cord) or using on a treadmill (with the longer cord). I was SO BUMMED when I went for a run one day...

Excellent product

These were great headphones. Great bass and crisp sound. When sweating heavily while jogging, the sound would sometimes short in one ear, cutting all sound, but I honestly don't complain because they weren't meant to be waterproof.

Great sound, great fit

Sound shorts when very sweaty

They'll break

I bought 2 pairs. I used them for walking, so not a whole lot of stress. On both of the sets the right ear quit working. Not what you would expect for a $40 dollar pair of "sport" buds. Oh...Sony will replace them....for $30.00 + applicable...

Best in ear phones for the price!

I noticed a lot of negative feedback for these, so I HAD to post a review so people reading don't miss out on a great product. I've had them for over a year, and i've put them through running, work outs, mowed lawns, skating (and a lot of falling), and...
