I have owned these before and have (in the interest of diversity) bought many different headphones in a similar price range in between the years of ownership. I haven't encountered much that comes close to being a solid as these.

These are excellent headphones for the price, especially if you have a preference for the type of buds that sit on your ear instead of going into the ear canal. Maximum volume is impressive and conveniently manipulated with the volume control dial on...

Sits on ear a little bit loosely, but I haven't had any problems with them falling out. The cord is also a bit short

Decent earphones

I guess these are pretty decent for their price. Nothing too special. I listen to metal mostly in the office so went for these coz I don't like ear-canal earphones as I need to hear what's going on outside as well.

1. Pretty good sound quality ; On par with my Sony Ericsson Bass Reflex earbuds ; Better than the standard iPod earbuds ; 2. Sounds better with the included foam tips ; 3. Inline Volume control ; 4. Carrying Case

1. The 3.5mm jack doesn't connect well. Even slight movement can result in sound loss

Very Good

Overall work well, after 1 to 1 1/2 hours hurt my ears.

Good for Podcasts/News, Fair 4 Music

NOTE: Just so this is understood: Neither of the Earphones I've purchased, from SONY, so far, are intended for Reference Studio Work. In Reality, I bought these, out of Desperation, since my better—NON-Reference/NON-Studio—(MDR-Q22LP), had a Design...

In-Line Loudness Control, Low-Cost;Fine Hi End Reproduction

Not even Close to Flat Frequency Response

aweome!

great buy~!

it's awesome! My friend lost my old ones and I found them again on Newegg

I don't know how rough you guys are on your ear phones, but the only thing that bugs me that the foam comes off very easily

mixed blessing

making the buds from some less rigid material--or coating them with some thing more giving would help. As would covers that stay on.

Nice little headphone--adj volume and wind up case are both handy extras. Just about perfect as long as they stay in my ears

which unfortunately they don't. At all. Were a little better with the foam sleeves, but those fell off the first day

Fragile!

AVOID...you'll thank me. These are great headphones. I've owned at least five sets. All of them comfortable, all of them sounded great. And the inline volume control is incredibly convenient. Unfortunately, I need to advise you NOT TO BUY THESE...

Comfortable, great sound, great value, inline volume control handy

Snag the cord moderately hard, even once, it dies

Good headphones

I love these little headphones and so does my sister, I think my mom is even gonna get a pair soon since the ones she got with her mp3 player are starting to break or did already.

I've had these since I had a portable cd player, yea years ago. They were great then and they still are, love the bass that they can recreate from such small speakers. I have a big stereo in my car and these suite me quite well

I could never get the black protecting stuff

Perfect

I bought these to replace the earphones that came with my Zen Xtra......which were horrible I might add (who would ahve thought), and for $xx these sound almost as good as my $xxx pair sxxxheiser sound editing headphones....go figure...

Very crisp/clear sound, Great base, Great Treble, and ability to get very LOUD

Short cord....not a big deal for me I just took it out of the wind-up case and it was fine
