Sony PS3 Wireless Stereo Headset review

It's interesting that after years of qualified third-party wireless headset offerings, Sony had never supplied PlayStation 3 owners with a first-party headset of its own. Sure, the company is known for the production of items that perhaps consumers...

The PS3 Wireless Headset is incredibly easy to use, sports an intelligent design, and is comfortable for hours of gaming.

We wish the PS3 Wireless Headset had an adjustable boom mic (instead of just telescoping) and a longer battery life. Also, the virtual surround sound effect isn't worth using. It would have been nice for Sony to include a cheap USB charging cable as well.

Attractively priced and full of great features, the PS3 Wireless Headset provides above-average sound quality and hassle-free performance.

i am not a big fan of head set but this blew me away.

the update for better support with this( the 7.1) has happen. i true audiofile. was impress with price to performed on this product. i works on ps3,pc and maybe mac. but cant test that one. this is overall one of the top 5 head set for ps3.

its built pretty dam good for a sony head set. the sound is surprising good for wireless and such. (the 7.1)does work on movies(some of them) and also music. this will also work on a pc (with correct driver) mention about same with pc usage and ps3

battery could be longer but it still better then most for its size. not the greatest base but well above average headset. could be better mic boom. also like mention on pros the 7.1 works on some movies and music.

Highly Recommended!!

Overall great product. Like it better than the Blu-Tooth ear bud. Sound is fantastic! Very comfortable. I'm very happy with this product and would recommend it to everybody I know.

1. Very comfortable. 2. Great sound and noise cancellation. I like the way you can adjust between the game and the incoming voice volume with one slider control. Many more cons, not enough characters to use...lol.

1. It's not Blu-Tooth! 2. Doesn't come with it's own USB cable for recharging.

the price, wireless, 7.1 virtual surround sound, great battery life, comfortable, the sound is fantastic

It's one of the best pair of headphones I've had.

I've been wanting wireless headphones for a while so I decided to get these since they were cheaper than the competition, have a mic, and are for ps3 (since it's the console I have). The wireless function is so comfortable, I don't have to even touch...

1.They're wireless, I know It's obvious but it just feels so good. 2.The range is good (about 20ft from my experience) and I had no interference. 3.It's rechargeable 4.They're pretty comfortable 5.They're also usable on PC,along with the microphone.

1.They're not very attractive, at least not when you put them on. 2.It's wireless USB only so if you lose the dongle, they're basically useless. 3.The 7.1 Virtual Surround Sound is only available while playing a ps3 Game 4. Nonadjustable mic on PC.

For the price you pay you can't really complain, they are a very good pair of wireless headphones, Sony have created a great product. However the surroundsound is pretty much basic and not always noticeable, cannot help feeling it could be a lot...

Great Headphones, Great Price.

Very Comfortable Extremely easy to set up No interference or cut outs Stylish design, very ergonomic. They work with a PC, which is great.

Build Quality could be slightly better, they are essentially plastic. The 7.1 surround sound is not that great and only works for gaming, and not compatible with bluray or dvd movies.

"Great Sound, Comfortable and Sleek Design, Easy Setup"

I think that this is a great headset overall, it's greatly priced compared to similar headsets, and has great sound and mic quality. I often use these just for headphones because the sound quality is so good. Also you can use with PC, which is good....

-Easy Setup; plug in the USB dongle and your DONE.

-Can't have the audio coming through the headset and TV at same time

-Easy Setup; plug in the USB dongle and your DONE. -Can use it with PC. -Very comfortable to wear, great material. -On-screen notifications (when using with PS3) -Mic does a very good job at eliminating background noise -Can charge while in use
