TDK NC-150 noise-cancelling headphones

TDK's budget noise-cancelling headphones have poor fit and construction, and mediocre sound quality

The cheapest active noise cancelling we've seen

Poor comfort and passive noise cancellation, active noise cancellation introduces hissing and rumbling noise, poor sound quality

TDK's NC-150 portable headphones have poor noise cancellation and are also let down by low quality construction and mediocre sound quality.

TDK Life on Record NC-150 ANC Headphones

I was amazed to see the TDK Life on Record NC-150 active noise-cancelling headphones selling for just $59. What do you get for so little outlay?

What you may not know about these headphone

The TDK Noise cancelling headphones are one of and probably the most cheap of all the TDK headphones, they are a price of $60. These headphones broke on the first day that I bought them. Luckily I was just able to fix them (the wires came out of the...

Excellent sound quality.

Easy to break if being clumsy and moving around a lot.

Bad

The cheapest pair of noise-cancellation headphones around, and I'd recommend them only if you're on a particularly tight budget. In noisy environments (e.g. plane flights) they do a better job than regular headphones, but if you can afford to spend...

Cheap!!

Turning noise-cancellation on introduces some background hiss, and results in some (but not complete) noise cancellation. The sound quality is ok but no great. With noise-cancellation turned off, the sound is rather muffled.
