Ear Force X4 review: Ear Force X4

Ear Force X4

Wireless headphones for Xbox 360 or any other audio source; effective 5.1 Dolby Digital processing; removable microphone.

IR signal radius is a bit narrow; headphones do a poor job of noise reduction and isolation; headphones require two AAA batteries (included).

With their accurate 5.1-channel separation, the Turtle Beach Ear Force X4s are great surround-sound headphones for the Xbox 360--or any other home theater component.

Turtle Beach Ear Force X4 Review

All our ears definitely do belong to the EAR FORCE X4. This is an amazing headset! Turtle Beach did a great job of creating virtual surround sound. The fact that it's wireless just makes things even better. Of course there are some cons, but it's the...

Turtle Beach Ear Force X4 Wireless Gaming Headset Review

The Turtle Beach Ear Force X4 are an excellent set of wireless gaming headphones that get dinged a point for the IR-interference issue from Plasma HDTV sets and dinged for the voice monitoring and auto-volume adjustment not behaving very effectively.

So overall, I am quite content with these headphones. These headphones are expensive, but there are always sales and I remember seeing these for sale on Amazon recently for less than $150. Thanks for reading!

best sound ever

maybe a little over priced had since november 08

you can hear everything around you and know what direction people are coming from. i use with call of duty, would never use anything else

batteries don't last to long about 20-25 hours of game play. you will still hear everything fine but talking to someone else, they won't hear you
