It doesn't really taste like cherries. The flavor of the tea comes through most of all... the cherry taste is subtle. I like that. I don't like tea that overwhelms me with fruitiness. It's a nice anytime tea.

I realize you should still have your chimney professionally cleaned but this seemed to work well in burning off the gunk in the chimney and seemed to improve the air flow in the fireplace.
