Netatmo wants to watch the weather for you

This Apple- and IFTTT-friendly smart system will keep an eye on your home environment.

The Netatmo Weather Station is easy to set up and use, performed well when we tested its accuracy, and features a well-designed app that's bursting with info. IFTTT integration is another nice touch.

For casual weather tracking, there isn't much separating Netatmo from the scores of free weather apps out there.

This system works well, but the appeal might be too limited to justify the price.

Netatmo Weather Station

With the Netatmo Weather Station you get up to the minute weather reports for your home area as well as temperature, humidity, noise, and CO2 levels inside your home. It's not exactly cheap, though.

Simple to install. Slick user interface. Tracks temperature, humidity, and CO2 levels.

Pricey. Terrible documentation.

Conclusion At $179 the Netatmo Weather Station may be a bit pricey, but if you want to monitor your home's sound and humidity levels, air quality, and room temperature, it's money well spent. Sure, you can live without knowing what the decibel level in...

Until now all the personal weather stations I have reviewed display the results. Here you have two cylinders with no apparent displays, press the top of the larger one and a line of colour appears down its side nothing else is shown.
