Great deal for 55 bucks

This is used as a secondary theatre system in the family room for me. So if the kids mess it up? Then, hey, it was xx bucks.

DVD Player plays burned discs ; Price ; Easy setup ; Subwoffer ; Enough sound for a small room ; Cool blue volume light

Distortion in the midrange at higher volumes ; Display is unreadable from 6" back, volume light is too overpowering

Good Value -More than expected!

For the money, it would be hard to beat this system even though it is somewhat out of date. Sound very good with 5.1 DVDs, but no 5.1 from any other inputs? The 2.1 does sound good on all other inputs. The remote response works better than any I've...

No 5.1 from any source other than DVD, 2.1 is great however. No controls for base, treble, balance. Manual a little brief

Worth the price

We are completely satisfied with this purchase and I have recommended others to consider this system as an inexpensive option.

You cannot beat the price for this system. The system is drop-dead simple to install and comes with enough speaker wire to effectively position every speaker through an average sized room. Bare in mind, you are not buying a $1000 surround sound system

The DVD motor is loud and at times annoying, often sounding like an 8mm projector at low speeds. The sound dissipates and is no longer noticeable as the movie plays
