Panasonic SC-BT200 - home theater system - 7.1 channel
7.1 home theater system; built-in Blu-ray player; solid sound quality for an HTIB; excellent image quality on Blu-rays and DVDs; iPod dock built into AV receiver; Amazon Video On-Demand and YouTube streaming.
Step-up SC-BT300 delivers better sound quality, albeit for more money; no Netflix or Pandora streaming; autosetup mic is too short; no video inputs; lacks Wi-Fi.
Panasonic's SC-BT200 is a 7.1 home theater system with built-in Blu-ray and solid sonics for the price, but it doesn't have the Netflix streaming found on some of its similarly priced competitors.

Want to find out how good a $500 high-def Blu-ray home theater system can sound, or how much it can do? Then hook up Panasonic's surprising entry-level "Blu-ray Theater."
The video was definitely respectable, but with Panasonic's Hollywood pedigree, I was certainly not expecting the audio to exceed it, especially with those microspeakers and that bargain pricetag. But the SC-BT200 rocks, and can turn an LCD or plasma...

Panasonic's new home theatre system includes iPod docking and Blu-ray playback
Good integration of iPod dock, high-definition audio codec support, capable wireless speakers with SH-FX70 accessory
Distortion at high volumes, some frequency holes
Panasonic's SC-BT200 home theatre system is a good choice if you're looking to team up a new big screen television with a separate sound system. It doesn’t have the aural abilities of more expensive home theatre setups, but for its size and price a...

Can Panasonic's unassuming Blu-ray system match up to the delights of its standalone stablemates?

All-in-one 5.1 home cinema system with integrated Blu-ray player and iPod dock. Offers most sound formats up to Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, auto-setup and 1000W (RMS) of amplification. Includes VieraCast (Ethernet only) and optional wireless...
For pure sound and crystal-clear vision, the SC-BT200 can’t be faulted, delivering impeccable performance at a very reasonable price. Tech-heads might complain about its lack of wireless and lacklustre iPod support, though. Panasonic SC-BT200 is tagged...

A stunning introduction to home cinema that's bound to infuriate the neighbours
Great 1kW sound, great looking pics and stacks of audio support
Auto setting way too loud, iPod menus poor
Consumer review (newegg.com)
I bought this with my tv (Panasonic S1 42") and they work great together in my bedroom. I managed to get a discount for buying together so I was able to get the BT200 for $300, which I thought was a great deal. This is my first surround home theater...
Great sound, uses VieraCast, iPod docking station, has a blu-ray player built in, works very nicely with my Panasonic tv (the two remotes are capable of controlling either the tv or receiver), speakers are small and yet they still pack quite a punch....
Lacks HDMI inputs, though I just have my PS3 and blu-ray player going through my tv and then optical output to the BT200, so it isn't really a major problem. Cables might be a little short for those putting this in a large room. I wish it would have...
