Disappointing

I bought this iron 4 years ago and it does not get used very often. However on going to use it today, the water keeps leaking out all over the clothes from a tiny point at the base of the iron and staining them. I cannot get it to stop and can find no...

Not great iron

I bought this Iron from Myer about 2 years ago, and I cannot say anything great about it, it didn't iron my clothes as crisp as I would of liked. I was disappointed as it came highly recommended from a Staff member. For the amount I paid I was really...

It was lightweight

Not a great iron left wrinkles

Does not have automatic cut-off

I purchased this iron to replace an old iron I had had for almost 10 years. I thought I would splurge above my usual $75 price tag. While I am happy with the performance of this iron I discovered by accident that it does not have an automatic...

Generally irons well although is a little noisy.

No automatic cut-off!!!!

Pretty Iron

Bought this iron to replace the old, however, should have done more research. However, I guess you get what you pay for. This iron looks very pretty, takes longer time to iron and still works ok. Not fantastic, no bad, but it's not recommendable.

Function is easy to use, light weighted

Cloth is still crinkled, takes longer to heat up

Just Amazing!

As a patchwork quilter for 20 years, a uniform shop convenor and a wife and mother, I would have to admit that I am heavily "iron-dependent". For years I used a Sunbeam iron and thought they were the bees-knees; but it wasn't until the manager of the...

Everything! It's terrific!

Good

Happy to have this iron. So much better than my old one. Updated technology even in an iron is worth the money and effort.

It works easily. I can get into little bits easily. Good long cord. Clean lines. Funky colour which makes me smile before I have to even start the dreaded chore. And it glides.

So far so good. Nothing to dislike

OK

This is a really comfortable iron to use. It is not too heavy and glides well over the fabric. The base could be a little bigger to help it balance better. It does iron linen very well and has lots of steam. I have had a Phillips iron before and was...

Easy to fill and glides well over the clothing. Has good even steam holes. Never spits or leakes on the clothing. The auto shut off is perfect for me if I forget to turn it off.

If something sticks to the bottom it is very hard to clean. Sometimes it does stick if it gets too hot.

Terrible

I owned this iron for a few hours and decided to refund it and buy a Russell Hobbs Slipstream after further research elsewhere - which was a great decision. The phillips was sticking to every item of cotton clothing on the correct heat setting. It made...

Water chamber easy to see through.

Heavy and hard to move. Sticks to clothing, makes ironing really hard work.

Excellent

I find this iron to be very balanced and comfortable to use over extended periods when I have a large amount of ironning to do. It has good temperature control, the steam tip is great for those hard to reach places, the ability to steam a hanging...

I find it to be well balanced, little effort needed and comfortable when using for extended periods, no dripping from the soleplate.

I can not find a thing to complain about with this iron
