Replacement for a previous Phillip's iron and has the same effectiveness. the real downside is that the previous iron had a cord some 12 ft long; this one is six foot and restricts where you can iron.

Philips make good irons always pleased only hiccup could do with a longer flex. Good steam generation and easy to press clothes.
