Rowenta DG8960+61 Silence Steam

Was attracted by the silence aspect of this iron. Whilst it was indeed silent, it broke twice within the two year warranty, and a third time 7 weeks post warranty expiration (this was also only 7 weeks after the second repair had been carried out)....

Great steam generator iron which makes easy work of ironing. Only one point for feature improvement; would like to see the ability to have a setting for constant steam without having to hold down the steam trigger.

Of all the irons I've used and purchased this is the best so far. Produces plenty of steam light weight iron. Heats up quickly. Quiet compared to other generators

This ironing is amazing, it's light and user friendly, I love it. The amount of ironing I get through is a lot to be desired, however I would pick this one over again, just wish I had found it earlier !!!

Purchased this as i was looking for an iron that was quiet, the iron operating itself is quiet but when it heats up its really loud so shouldn't be advertised as quiet!
