who puts a slash key there?

3 stars to balance my other 5 star review.

Same pros as my other review. For the majority of typing this thing is great

I've noticed now that the mouse has a few positions in which it drifts slowly along the screen without my telling it to. This is not a dealbreaker by any means, as a lot of optical mice do this too ; Most annoyingly, though, the \ key is on the same...

crazy cheap and works great

Hey, guy who says the scrolly wheel doesn't double as a third mouse button, PUSH HARDER! :) Seriously, though, it IS a 3rd mouse button. Pass it along!

Low cost by a factor of 2, wheel feels nice and doesn't cause me to contort my hand, since the buttons are on the other side. Feels as solid as it should for this price

Keys are a little stiff compared to most keyboards, but I quickly got used to that. Some keys are a little scrunched but it took about 10 minutes to get used to that too

Broke em

Worthwhile, but be careful with it and keep it put away!

Good sofa keyboard, works well. Another review claims there is no "push click" function in the scroll wheel, but there is in both of mine. Best deal on trackball keyboard

Cord is too short and non detachable. Optical trackball drifts. Both of the ones I've bought have mechanically failed the same way under long term (ab)use: The trackball has three tiny plastic towers holding tiny ball bearings for the ball to ride on....

alright

With purchases like these you can't have your expectations up to high. With that said its a fairly decent keyboard that feels fine for typing. The keys are a little werid in their layout but feel is most important, which this keyboard is okay in. I...

It works ; The only wired keyboard that had the track ball and looked somewhat decent ; Works in linux

Short usb cable ; The track ball works fine a first but got a little rough in picking up movement after not too long of use

Great KB

Long key travel - I like short-stroke laptop-style keyboards. USB port may not be 2.0 but I use a 3DConnexions 3D Navigator connected through this port.

Compact, Optical Trackball, Scroll Wheel (third button too), 10-key, Media buttons ; I'm a disabled user who hates mice and this keyboard suits my tastes perfectly. I use one at home on my personal computer and I use one at work all day on my...

Worthless extraneous buttons [cut copy, paste, fwd, back, all the buttons on the top]. Only one "in-context" and "wondows" keys. Strange placement of "Del" and "Ins" keys. But these are all minor inconveniences, hence 4 eggs

Nice Try

i like the layout. We purchased this to provide better input ability on a CNC press brake. The size was perfect, and I like the integrated trackball... BUT... i doesnt work. text book example of cheap chinese imports with poor Q.C. if you think you...

negated by cons

the middle row of keys didnt work from the start, as well as various buttons like the main click. there are other problems but theres not need to explain further

loved it until the scroll wheel broke

I think they could have slid the extra (useless) media keys by the scroll wheel down half and allowed for full-size 'real' keys. Who needs special keys for cut/copy/paste??? Two comments about the media & custom keys: 1. I didn't expect that they...

I wanted a USB wired keyboard with a built-in trackball to use for my laptop, and narrowed it down to this out of about ten other contenders. It serves nicely for that purpose, and is relatively inexpensive ; The trackball responds very well. The extra...

The scroll wheel broke after about 2-3 weeks of normal use, resulting in my first RMA. I think the plastic axle just snapped off internally ; The alt/meta/hyper, page up/down, and punctuation keys are all about half-width. This makes touch typing with...

Handy for HTPC

I'll be buying another one if I can't manage to repair the first one. I wouldn't have to fix it if it had a USB B port instead of hardwired-in cable.

Plugs and plays, works well. Feel is similar to a good laptop keyboard, maybe a little better. Lightweight and reasonably rugged. Survived several months of sofa use and droppage until the dog chewed the wire off of it

Cons are minor. 3 ft cord is too short, I added a USB extension. Compact layout takes a little getting used to. Trackball drifts occasionally (a common failing of optical pointing devices) which can be annoying with video players that show controls...

Great Keyboard

Cool little keyboard. It has the trackball built in to the keyboard, so there is only one connection needed for the usb on the computer. I use it with my laptop, and I hold the keyboard in my lap. Consequently, it is much more handy to have everything...

No major cons that I have seen. The trackball takes a little while to get used to. It is kinda small, not a con, just different

It's so so...

I use this for my HTPC and didn't want to string another cable around the TV. I thought about wireless but I've heard wireless performance of the integrated keyboards/mice are suspect.

Integrated mouse is nice. Both right and left-clicks work fine with the trackball

You can't really type all that fast using it because you have to really push down on some of the keys in order for the keystroke to register. Hopefully, it's just the way this keyboard is and not a sign of imminent key failure
