Consumer review (newegg.com)

Been using this for 6 years

I've been using this wireless keyboard and mouse for 7 years. It's really good.

Works well. Long battery life.

Not worth it.

A very unimpressive product. Save your money on this one, there's nothing good about it. After a couple of years, I spilled about a tablespoon of water on it, and half the buttons shorted out. I was not sad to see it go.

It was wireless.

The keyboard was flimsy, the wireless was dreadful. At a distance of 8 feet from the PC it was always slow to respond on the computer and would drop a letter in each sentence. The mouse was okay, but the battery housing of each was very weak and the...

Keystrokes cause strokes

I got this to control a media PC hooked up to my TV, but It's really frustrating spending more time trying to fix the keystroke mishaps than actual typing. The keyboard and mouse both worked great out of the box, but these issues started soon after. If...

Cheap Good Range Keyboard and Mouse automatically turn off to save batteries

As others have said, this keyboard tends to either drop strokes, or make double or triple strokes, even with fresh batteries. The problems are exacerbated when processor and memory usage is medium-high. My mouse started to die after about a year. The...

Excellent Set

I like the slim keyboard. Nothing but keys and no extra, unused keyboard.

Slim keyboard and roller mouse work well at last 15 feet from the receiver. I use it in the living room. I have had it for 4 years and its still working like new. I liked it so much I bought another one and tried to buy another years later but I could...

Good while it lasted

I would spend a little more money and get something that would last longer. Great for the price though.

Was great when I got it brand new. Looks and feels nice. You can be pretty far back, maybe 10-15 ft and it registers well.

After 8 months of use, the mouse is starting to go bad. Seems like the bulb is starting to die even with brand new batteries. And everything what Dough mentioned.

Wish I had bought something more expensive

In hindsight, I wish I had gone with a more expensive keyboard, one that manages packet delivery across RF better.

Was inexpensive. Batteries seem to last forever. Has continued to work after a year of use.

The biggest con is that unless you are approximately on target with the RF sensor on the computer, the keyboard will drop keystrokes or double/triple send them. You get messages that look like this: Here iss an exaample of me typing on this keyboad...

Two years later...

Worthwhile if you want something asap. Though really frustrating when it dies.

Great speed and what not ...

The keyboard just stopped working after two years.

Works great

The mouse has a wide flat scroll wheel, and I like like it

I like it. It is not too big, batteries last pretty long if you don't pile stuff on it and remember to turn it off. One set lasted from March to August. range is good I use it on a HTPC I built for my TV
