Good keyboard, not so good mouse

Some others have complained that it isn't red. I'd call it red. I have a calibrated monitor and the color matches the Newegg pics very closely. No, it's not candy apple bright red, that would be obnoxious.

Full sized keyboard with full stroke keys on a standard layout (not pinching penny's by moving keys to funky locations or making them smaller, or as on some keyboards I've seen, eliminated them completely so as the make the keyboard smaller) with...

The cords are very cheesy looking -- if you're not going to bother making the wires look nice, then don't put a clear jacket on it. The mouse is definitely the weak link in this kit...it handles fine but the buttons have a "squishy" feel unless you hit...

Very happy

Although I dont really have any cons about this purchase, there are a few things to note. The color is not exactly red but you can obviously see that its not red in the pictures that newegg has provided - so if your going to complain about the color,...

It has letters and stuff. You press the letter A and it types the letter A, and when you press the letter R it types the letter R. So i would assume the keyboard is fully functional. It works with windows 7 right out of the box. All the hotkeys on the...

Looks Good

The mouse is the only awkward thing in this setup. The mouse is small the tracking is ok but somethimes it sticks when waking the computer out of a screen saver or sleep mode. I bought this setup for my wife and she has small hands but if you have...

Well.......

Cords are extremely fragile and small, very cheaply made. THROW the mouse OUT and keep the keyboard. The color is like....orange/rust...not red.

I LOVE the keyboard it is awesome! Its worth the money by itself! Mouse is terrible, see CONS

The mouse is absolutely useless and horrible and worthless. It doesnt track properly, it is cheaply madeand extremely small, oh yah, and its completely FLAT, no curve to it. I have large hands and the mouse is smaller than the palm of my hand! MAYBE...

APEVIA KI-COMBO-RED Red/Black 104 Normal Keys 22 Function Keys PS/2 Wired Standard Keyboard and Optical Scroll Mouse Combo Set

Like other comments.....it's not really red. Kind of burgundy color. Watch the mouse wire. REALLY fragile. Pulled mine out after 10 min of use. Easy fix though. Keyboard is a little "clicky" like the old IBM's. All in all good for the price.

looks great. lots of media keys

Kinda cheap construction
