Lightweight chassis ; Replaceable mouse switches ; Cool-looking semi-translucent chassis

Faux ambidextrous shape ; Limited profile support ; Confusing config app situation ; Sensor isn't as powerful as comparable models'

Light (but not overly light) and ambidextrously styled (but not actually ambidextrous), the Asus ROG Strix Impact II trails the esports-mouse field.

Asus ROG Strix Impact II Electro Punk Mouse Review: Style Over Substance?

 

Pretty in pink

Unique pink-and-black aesthetic ; Surface resists smudges ; Omron mechanical switches

Shape feels generic, plastic feels cheap ; Cable isn’t braided ; Sensor isn’t as precise as similarly priced competition

Asus’ ROG Strix Impact II gets a snazzy pink “Electro Punk” makeover. But aside from accents and RGB, is there enough substance here for the mouse to stand out in the crowded $50 peripheral market?
