41 Paperweight

No use sending it in, another from what I understand from the reviews, I have one of the better units. Should hold down paper in a stiff wind though. Useless for an HTPC application

Looks good

I bought this for my HTPC. Since I was accumulating pieces over time, I did not do anything with this other than a cursory check to see if it was functional. Now that I have my setup complete, I find this thing only works if I am within 5 feet and I am...

Again, the vendor must take responsibility for the products it offers. If I built you a chair, and I used cheap glue, and the glue fails. Whose fault is that? I built it right. The glue is at fault? So, who offered the service? Me. I built it,...

Sure looked good in the picture. Sure looked good on the coffee table

Contacted web page for vendor. There is no support. There is no one to contact about malfing products. They don't even list this keyboard as one of their products. There are no downloads. Am I describing pain and injury here. It sure feels like it

Wirlessly connected at 5 feet

The asthetics are actually great on this unit. I was ale to look past the flickering LED. I keep a towel nearby if my hands get clammy. I must do further research on the reception on this unit, it might be that the reciever is too low (?) as it is on...

integrated touchpad into keyboard surface ; very sturdy aluminum housing ; stylish ; sleeps after a period of time to conserve battery life

key press feel (first thing I noticed when using this keyboard was the lack of physical feedback from the key presses, especially the spacebar) ; limited wireless reception (i get terrible reception from further than 5 feet away from the usb reciever)...

Badboard

I rarely buy the top of the line item because units in the 2nd or 3rd position have more VALUE. I should also follow the reverse logic when purchasing a simple unit like an all-in-one mouse/keyboard solution. Going with the dirt cheap product wasted my...

The expectation of having a wireless keyboard/mouse for internet browsing in the living room

This is a poor product. The unit will not communicate with the USB transmitter. I have installed the USB transmitter, WinXP will not recognize the keyboard

Not recommended for HTPC

After the 2nd keyboard didn't meet my needs, I switched to a different keyboard from newegg that is working perfectly in my HTPC running XBMC

good feel, solid aluminum casing, built-in touch pad and number pad

does not function beyond 8 feet; 1st one was bad only intermittently was detected by computer (tested with XP, Vista, Win7, & Ubuntu). 2nd keyboard worked great 1st try, until I moved from immediately in front of the tv to the couch across the room....

Piece O' Sheet

Includes Mousepad. Pretty cheap. Installed driver with no problems

Theres a reason why this only costs $41 ; Right when i got it, the keyboard wouldnt work because the ctrl key was stuck. when i pressed S, it would go to save as, etc. I had to pop open the ctrl keys and jimmy the thing on the bottom to make it work....

Just in case the people at newegg want to update the product info to be a little more in-depth... visenta.com/en

This keyboard is actually a visenta V1 (google it) rebadged in a different case with 2xAAAs vs 4! I noticed some odd behavior with the touchpad, turns out it's multi-touch! Considering a V1 runs about $80 I couldn't be happier! Also this board is...

Pleasantly surprised!

This keyboard/mouse is perfect for me. My main display is a 60" TV about 14' away. Using a standard keyboard and mouse was always a hassle even using wireless. This solves the problem of needing a flat surface for a mouse. If the leds do end up going...

Solid aluminium case ; Durable keypad ; Positioning of touchpad ; Multimedia keys work out-of-the box with ubuntu 10.04 (haven't tried windows I'd assume the same) ; Numberpad

Num, cap and scroll lock leds flicker a bit when lit. They may be old or going out. Will update after a month or so ; Backspace key is quite small. Just takes some getting used too ; Range isn't quite 5-10m. I'd say 4m maximum
