Consumer review (newegg.com)

It's a hit and miss..

Was it WORTH it? For the price I paid for this, I'd have to definitely say yes.

Ease of use, size, looks, compatibility with Media Center

Yes, this keyboard does lose it's connection on me at least ONCE a day ; I use this on my Vista 64 bit Media Center, and it's wholly random. I can't point to any ONE activity that prompts the loss of connection ; It's the weirdest thing, for sure

Works great for me

My wife is a homemaker and uses the poop out of our HTPC with this keyboard. I have never had any problems with it but I did have to change the batteries once. I am using Vista Ultimate 64 bit with an AMD 5000+ X2 on an Asus 780G board 4GB on the...

Plug it in and it just works, good reception it sits about 8 feet from PC. Had this for over a year

None that come to mind, it works for its intended purpose.. seems really light, not as small as a remote I guess

Worked fine until joystick broke

Until the joystick broke, I was very happy with this product.

Worked as advertised. Easy to install. Range was good in my living room. Worked with Vista Media Center PC, no problems

Joystick broke after about 1 yr of light use. I rarely use the keyboard in my home theater. Mostly I use an IR remote. There is no good reason for it to have broken. It is not repairable so I am out approx. $30

This product ruined an entire brand name

Trust the law of large numbers: hundreds of positive reviews seems to mean you'll get your money's worth out of an item. Many bad reviews means you'll wish you kept the box and manual. Don't be fooled by positive reviews manufacturers place themselves...

It looked pretty

Out of Box Failure. USB Module fails. Bad, sketchy drivers. Bad technology. Mouse control could be better -- I've been a Newegg customer since 2002, and this is only my 2nd RMA. This keyboard can't even bring the machine out of standby out of the box...

Works For Me

I have used this keyboard on a ps3 and numerous computers. It has always worked well. I also have a Logitech DiNovo Mini and have had significanlty more trouble with the diNovo than this BTC. Works better at less than 1/4 the price. I need yet another...

Plug the usb in and it connects. No syncing or dropouts. Excellent price. Mouse pointer included. Media center buttons. Pretty good range but could be better

Not as small as I'd like it. Shut down button is easy to hit accidentally

Good Distance, Great Price

I like it!

As of right now, the keyboard has an excellent range and haven't had any problems with non-registering keys. Installation is quick and easy and thus far keyboard has been relatively reliable

The mouse sometimes seems a little jumpy which can be problematic, but thus far its only happened a couple of times! Also, this isn't an issue yet, the mouse trackball can't be removed and thus housing piece of the ball cannot be cleaned (really a...

DOA out of the box.

For this stlye of keyboard that integrates the mouse, they definately should have inluded a scroll wheel next to the mouse buttons? Text browsing is annoying I should have bought the keyboard that had the touchpad instead.

cheap, onboard joystick works fine but takes a little getting used to

I bought this keyboard for browsing the WWW from the couch without having to use a mouse. Popped in the included batteries...nothing. I should have returned it immediately, but I ended up splitting the board and checking it out with my multimeter. I...

Great Idea...Poor execution!

Look elsewhere for a HTPC keyboard...

Great size and looks, media keys (HTPC) that work with SageTV, integrated pointer and decent price

Horrible wireless range and mouse pointer broke within 6 months of light use

DO NOT BUY THIS!!!!!

Newegg! you guys are awesome in every way except that you carry this keyboard, get rid of it!!!!!! everyone is having the same prob.

Price and The idea of the keyboard

Everything having to do with the feeling of the sticky keys, terrible electronics(sometimes I have to get up 4 times in five minutes to reset) Beyond a pain in the neck, I had to control myself from smashing the cheap keyboard into a million pieces......
