Refurbished PowerColer AXR7 250

Just after warranty period the backspace key sometimes fails to register - other keys may be functioning the same way. Not sure if it's the switch. Bought this as a replacement for my Rosewill with cherry reds - I like the rosewill a lot better even...

Mechanical ; n-key rollover ; Lights up

Wobbly keys ; flimsy ; noisy ; wearing out after 2+ years

if you own amd, forget it!

I have never had such a bad time with customer service, coolermaster promised an upgrade to their storm trigger, which apparently they don't make anymore. I already own and use daily 2 quickfire pro keyboards with no issues. The numbers pad must cause...

nice keyboard, cherry mx keys, nice cord

worthless if you own an amd motherboard! stops at boot screen after first use, spent months rma'ing to coolermaster who sent back the same model keyboard. The first keyboard worked some of the time, but would crash occasionally, the replacement worked...

Avoid.

Cheap

Cheap and you pay for it. My first CM Cherry Brown had it's left ALT key fail. I had to pay shipping to send back my defective board for them to send me a new board. Now, that one makes a metallic "ping" noise every time you press a key ; Incredible...

Make sure mini-USB is plugged in all the way!

Responding specifically to multiple people who said it was DOA -- I think everyone might have had the same problem as me! When I first plugged it in, my Win7 (64bit) reported problems with the USB device and it was classified as an Unknown USB device...

Cherry MX Red switch is really nice, linear style key presses with no tactile bump or clacks, but requires less force to type than Cherry MX Black

Setting up requires some effort - literally - make sure you plug the USB cable right. See below

Bought on a Whim - Few regrets

I bought this on sale, on a whim. Few regrets. Takes a day or 2 for the learning curve to kick in. Other then that it's pretty nice.

It's great. Makes the perfect kind of noise. Keys are responsive. Feels like a million bucks

High up, keys can get jaggy

I never thought it would happen to me" TOO!

Based on all the other 1-egg reviews of this keyboard and its variants, and my personal experience with these keyboards, I must conclude that this keyboard is simply built poorly and that Cooler Master does not CHECK their products for quality. I have...

N/A

I've been through 2 of these keyboards, neither of which worked out of the box ; There was some sort of connection error where windows 7 64-bit would attempt to recognize the keyboard and install drivers, but the keyboard would not STAY CONNECTED. I...

Cooler Master SGK-4010-GKCR1-US

Very happy with the product, looks awesome, feels great, be warned cherry mx red keys are very responsive- ideal for gaming not so much for extensive typing, there are mice that have programmable macro keys (some up to 12) if you decide you want this...

Stylish but not over the top gimmicky, detachable USB cable, backlit keys (not all), very nice feel to the cherry mx red keys, durable assembly

No software with the keyboard, no programmable macro keys

Better keyboards out there

A very well put together keyboard, at a good price. If you dont need to get into the bios, or into an encrypted os drive, then its a good keyboard. If you do need those things, dont get this keyboard.

Red switches, very smooth, good heft, very good build

Would NOT let me into bios on any of my three machines ; Delete just didnt work. I dont know if this keyboard has its own controller, but it doesnt work for getting into the bios ; Also, it did not work getting me into my encrypted OS drive ; Just like...
