Das Keyboard DASK3ULTMS1SI

I bought this as my first mechanical keyboard 3 years ago, and haven't looked back. It's the little things. You really don't notice the problems with rubber dome keyboards until they're gone. It's a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for.

Very comfortable and natural feel ; Doesn't wear unevenly, unlike cheaper keyboards. Every key needs the exact same force to register. This means you can type faster without accidentally transposing letters because one clicked a little faster than the...

Silent" is a bit of a misnomer. It's definitely louder than non-mechanical keyboards, but it isn't too bad either ; Can be difficult for non touch typists (friends and family)

Great Keyboard When Alive

I used this keyboard at work for the past 19 months and it types really well, provides great feedback, and looks awesome

My keyboard has died today, keeps getting really hot by the led indicators and did melt some of the plastic to create a dent in the frame. I look online and find out there is no manufacture warranty. I expect a $130 keyboard to come with something like...

Great keyboard, but...

Aside from only having 6-key RO now, and polling on my USB bus (which is what I wanted to avoid, hence buying the mechanical keyboard) I love it.

Great mechanical keyboard. Solidly built, feels good under the fingers. N-key rollover* if that's what you're looking for

On my original system, I had separate mouse/keyboard PS2 ports. The keyboard worked great, and had true N-key rollover. That system then crapped out, so I built a new one. I sought a motherboard exclusively with PS2 ports so I could retain the NKRO...

perfect keyboard

i've found that this keyboard intimidates my friends or loved ones who are not touch-typists... for example, my boyfriend doesn't like to use my computer when i'm not the one typing. then again, some might view this as a plus. -the keyboard arrived...

cherry mx brown keys means the "middle ground between gaming and typist keyboards." i agree with this ; sleek design with no labels ; clickyclickyclicky ; durable and easy to clean

does not reciprocate when i try to cuddle with it at night

Das keyboard

Nice looking, thats all

when spending 129 usd, for the silent version, you expect it to be SILENT.. definately not the case . it doesnt use mechanical clicks, but it is loud as hell, and definately not worth the investment ; maybe there is a mechanical wonder, but as it...

beyond amazing.

I would hands down put this up against any other keyboard for gaming or typing and doubt it can be beat, i have tried most of the other top keyboards including filco, IBM, Corsair and Razer mech keyboards. This one blows them out of the water please...

This keyboard is absolutely amazing for anyone who is good at typing and doesn't need to look. It is also an amazing keyboard for playing games. i play a lot of starcraft II games at a high rank, and the fast APM required to play is very easily done...

The only con this keyboard has, is sort of also a pro to me. It has no lettering on the keys, but also has a non ultimate (the professional) which is the same exact keyboard but has the lettering on the keys. Its a 2 for 1 so that less people will use...

Was fine while it lasted...

I didn't realize how much I looked at my keyboard until I had this. I'm a fast typist and rarely look at the keys, but I have certain complex passwords that require looking at keys... it made the lack of key inscriptions tough. I got really sick one...

Good for showing off to friends, fancy, cool looking

The lack of key inscriptions may not be as good of an idea as it first seems ; First one I got was defective. The USB Hub worked but the keyboard didn't work at all. I called NewEgg and RMA'd it, they were super helpful and sent me a new one that...

Great keyboard

The keys are a bit light for my taste. If I were to get another keyboard I might go for heavier switches. I would 110% recommend this keyboard over the Razer Black Widow which seemed buggy (yes, it would bug out requiring a system restart) and picky...

Very heavy--this is definitely a sign of sturdy construction. This keyboard does not feel cheaply manufactured by any standard. Keystrokes are extremely consistant even if keys are pressed at an angle (the razer black widow I used was finicky about the...

Not really a con to me, but this keyboard is still really loud. You cannot hear the mechanical switches clicking but you hear the keys when they bottom out. I like it, but others may not

Awesome

I can tell this will make me a better typist. Still getting used to the deeper key stroke travel (I was on an Apple chiclet keyboard before, it's like night and day!!), and the fact that I knowingly bought a keyboard with no letters printed on the...

Finally, a keyboard that feels solid. Like a tank, this thing is ; Also, USB hub is great, even has its own separate USB plug so that even if you use the keyboard as a PS/2 device, you can still have USB devices plugged into it

I have the quiet model, but remember, it's still a little louder than a common membrane keyboard. Not by much, but I'd say noticeably so
