Kensington KeyFolio Pro 2 for iPad

The Kensington KeyFolio Pro 2 for iPad adds significant thickness to the iPad but with the benefit of a good keyboard

Decent typing experience ; Cut outs for all ports ; Keyboard is removeable

Very corporate look and feel ; Adds significant thickness ; Keyboard feels flimsy when removed

The Kensington's KeyFolio Pro 2 for iPad provides a reasonably typing experience and the fact that the keyboard is detachable is a nice touch. However, it adds significant thickness to the svelte new iPad and the keyboard does feel a little flimsy when...

Kensington KeyFolio Pro 2 for iPad review

The KeyFolio Pro 2 case itself is very business looking, so it's likely to attract corporate users first and foremost. It is made from leather-style synthetic material and is secured close by an elastic strap that wraps around the outside of the case....

First Look: Kensington Keyfolio Pro 2

Critics of the iPad point to its limitations as an input device for creating content. The lack of a "proper" keyboard is often highlighted as stopping owners from tapping out lots of words when on the go.

The Kensington Keyfolio Pro 2 has a recommended price of $99.95 and works with the iPad 2 and the new iPad.

Kensington KeyFolio Pro review

Combining a protective case for your precious iPad 2 with a tactile keyboard, the KeyFolio Pro is efficient and functional, but without much style or luxury

Larger than average keyboard; LED indicators for caps lock; bold text and graphics on each key; lightweight outer casing; long battery life

Poor overall styling; case marks easily; viewing angle too shallow; keyboard can’t be detached; expensive

Overall this iPad case and keyboard combo is adequate for most needs. The keyboard is large enough to type for extended periods. With a battery life that has a claimed 100 hours working time and 60 days on standby, you won’t be reaching for the power...

It's just okay

The corners that secure the tablet is the only negative. No issues with the keyboard.

This case is great and so is the keyboard

All Kensington keyfolios are not equal some are not well made but this one is different and is great.

This keyboard works great with both my iPad2 and my daughter's Acer Iconia u200. You just have to unpair the keyboard and reassign it to each device if you switch. If you don't the device won't find it due to it be assigning a different blue tooth...

Zero this case is really well made and the keyboard is very good. I have charged the keyboard 3 times in a years use

will not fit Iconia Tab

This is a nice unit but if you have the Iconia tablet size 10.1" it is too small. No way will it work.

sturdy, slim

could not use to tell

I'm hot and cold on this one

I have an Azpen X1P. Kinda cool tablet, but now that I know how it all works with the dual boot Win7/Android, I assume you can do it on any tablet. This one is the same size as the Toshiba Thrive and the case fits it perfectly. I did discard the bulky...

The case part of this is nice. Well built, intelligently outfitted with velcro to keep the tablet standing without grooves in the case. The keyboard magically slips into place via four pretty strong magnets. It won't fall off/out, even on a drop. The...

The bluetooth keyboard has issues with every version of Android I put on this tablet. 2.3, 3.4, 4.0 beta. It just doesn't like it. (Bummed) ; Also, it has issues with my slim install of Win7. Granted I've turned a lot of services off, but every time...

Overall a good product

The battery indicator would be nice, but isn't a big deal. The case should be reworked to better hold the Xoom in a fixed position because that is super annoying.

The keyboard is the main reason I purchased this, and it has been great so far. It is big enough to type on, has a great feel, and even works better than some full size keyboards I have. The battery life seems to be good, but more indication of a low...

The Xoom slides under a hard plastic frame, and is held in place by a flexible flap that folds under the Xoom. This flap tends to slide out of place, which causes the Xoom to slide in the case. This tends to cover the cameras, indicator light and power...
