Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 Keyboard and Laser Mouse review: Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 Keyboard and Laser Mouse

Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 Keyboard and Laser Mouse

"Incurve" key design and cushioned palm rest alleviate wrist irritation; impressive battery life claims (three years for keyboard, one for mouse); Hyper-fast scroll dial offers incremental fluidity; inexpensive.

Doesn't use Logitech's new Unifying USB receiver or Darkfield laser sensor; Hyper-fast scroll dial inconveniently located underneath the mouse; lefties can't use the sculpted mouse; simple LCD screen adds unnecessary bulk to the keyboard design.

Although it's not our favorite keyboard and mouse combination, the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700 set earns our recommendation for its comfortable "Incurve" key design, quick scrolling mouse, and impressive battery life. If you're looking to upgrade...

Read Logitech MK700 Keyboard and Mouse Combo

For those who spend long hours using the computer, keyboard and mouse choice can be essential to your comfort and productivity.  Today we will be looking at Logitech's MK700 keyboard and mouse combo which promises to address both concerns with features...

LCD screen displays status of “lock” keys and battery life ; AES encrypted transmission ; Simple keyboard without a ton of software requiring multimedia keys ; Mouse is comfortable to use ; Excellent battery life ; Hyper-fast scrolling

Incurve keys more of a marketing gimmick

Logitech's MK700 is an extremely well rounded keyboard and mouse combo.  Over the month I used the MK700, nothing really negative stood out.  My only complaint was the mouse could have been a little longer even though the mouse is slightly larger than...

Logitech Wireless Desktop MK700

Last month we told you about a new keyboard and mouse set from Logitech called the MK700. At first glance it seemed like any other wireless combo, but under the surface there were a few things to note. Namely the new “Incurve keys” and an amazing...

Logitech has always been king in my book when it comes to keyboards and mice. They have delivered another solid combo, with enough new features to really give you an incentive to upgrade. The Incurve keys really do make a difference, and really, who...

Horrible

It's pretty clear iBUYPOWER put the minimal amount of effort testing this computer. They got it to boot but it seems they didn't bother actually trying to run a game on this gaming computer or else they would have clearly seen there was a problem with...

Keyboard seems to remain connected at all times

Mouse often loses connection from appx 8-9 ft. Takes a few seconds to regain connectivity

Great For A HTPC

A great Keyboard and mouse combo, with exceptional range and battery life.

The mouse works on just about any surface including bedspreads, sheets clothes, bare skin, etc. The range is great. Battery life is off the charts. I use this combo with my htpc in my bedroom and I constantly leave the mouse on and have only changed the...

Keyboard is rather large for my needs but fine for desktop use. If I was buying right now I would opt for the anywhere mouse with darkfield and unifying receiver

What a joke

I would be disseminated if i spent a third of the cost. What a ripoff. I hear good things from the Bluetooth version. I guess you have to go all out if you want something for the living room.

Great look and feel to both keyboard and mouse. Drainage holes would make you think that you could take it more than 5 ft from the computer

Terrible range. You need line of sight to the dongle, which does not have any wire, its is just like a thumb drive. with no line of sight the range is a few feet at best with brand new batteries. Even within range with zero rf interference it can hang,...

It works

I'm using this in an HTPC setup. In retrospect I would like to have more than one option for mouse input, such as a laptop style keyboard nub or touch-pad built into the keyboard. Managing two input devices in my armchair or on the couch can get...

Great battery life. I don't know why it even had an off switch. I never turn it off, even when the system is powered down. Battery meter still reads a full charge. The mouse works on just about any surface; armchair arm, my leg, pillows, etc

None to speak of
