Microsoft Wireless Laser Desktop 3000

Comfortable, ergonomical keyboard and mouse

Sleek design, intuitive software

Awkward positioning of some mouse buttons

The Wireless Laser Desktop 3000 is a keyboard/mouse combo that offers comfort, ergonomics and intuitive software in a single package. Microsoft's higher-end products are better designed, but this package is decently priced and is fine for everyday use.

Typing happily

Works great. Looks good. Priced right. Actually used this for a new build and it worked within the BIOS and Windows 7 installations without any drivers, which I wasn't expecting. Keys are a soft touch and feel great as I'm a heavy typer

Batteries. I hate batteries, but that's the price you pay for wireless
