Nvidia 3D Vision 2

Redesigned glasses and a lower price make the stereoscopic 3D kit more enticing than ever.

Larger lenses improve viewing experience. Backward compatible with first-generation 3D Vision hardware.

Requires Nvidia video card, 120Hz monitor. Glasses aesthetically questionable.

Reviewing the NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 Experience Featuring the ASUS VG278H 120Hz LCD Monitor 3D Bundle

Even though NVIDIA 3D Vision ushered in a new age visual experience, I only vaguely remember it simply because there were limited games that offered a really great 3D experience. Not to mention, ill fitting 3D Vision glasses and flicker …

Better 3D Vision 2 design ; Rechargeable 50 hour lenses ; Larger, better quality lenses ; Flicker free powered 3D lenses ; Monitor picture is impressive ; Vivid colors and strong contrast ; Built-in adjustable 3D emitter ; Quick 3D transition with 3D...

Only monitor on the market to bundle 3D Vision 2

So how does NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 measure up in this new world of 3D perception? Honestly, that will depend on the game and especially, if not more importantly, the 3D monitor you’re using. While many of the latest game titles have polished up the 3D...

NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 with Lightboost Technology

It has been approximately 10 years since playing my first 3D game on a PC. Unfortunately, it must have not left a lasting impression, since the only memories I actually have of it are that I spent some money to purchase some software and used a pair of...

I like 3D gaming. It breaths new life into games that have been played out and have been put to rest on the shelf. When I first tested 3D Vision, there weren't many games available that took advantage of the technology but that has changed. There are...

NVIDIA's 3D Vision 2 is a very solid improvement over the previous generation. The ASUS VG278H even though ours had its issues, is a very solid screen offered at a great bundled price.

NVIDIA 3D Vision w/ ASUS VG236HE 3D Display Review

The NVIDIA 3D Vision gaming solution has certainly matured since we first looked at it back in 2009. Since it was originally released the price has come down nearly 45% and the current 3D monitors offer full HD resolutions and the ability to play 3D...

NVIDIA's stereoscopic 3D Vision is an amazing technology you must see to believe. The utility of the setup along with the constantly increasing number of supported titles makes this a killer and fairly affordable setup!

NVIDIA 3D VISION SURROUND Experience

Many have waited for NVIDIA's 3D VISION SURROUND Technology with bated breath. The wait is over and NVIDIA can now give its GPU owners a 3x1 multi-display gaming experience; and in 3D too! Does NVIDIA's implementation live up to the expectations of...

NVIDIA has been fighting an uphill battle. AMD left NVIDIA in a stupor with its one-two 5800-Eyfinity punches. NVIDIA had to do a multi-display gaming solution. As reactionary as it may have been to do that, NVIDIA came out on top in a couple of areas....

NVIDIA 3D Vision - GTX280, GTX480 and GTX480SLI review

As with all human interface devices, it is very hard to write a review that will give an accurate picture to every reader. The best you can do is report on your experiences and hope that your preferences are not too different from the average reader....

As we can see, all titles have a big drop in performance. But where GTX 280 had some problems, the GTX 480 does a much better job, enabling us to experience both the 3D environment and the smooth rendering.
