Great wireless combo for the money

I wanted a wireless combo that included a mouse with more than three buttons (I can't live without the back/forward buttons anymore). Every combo I found was either well over $100 or had a 3 button mouse. Then I found this set. A very good mouse, a...

The mouse is top of the line - the MX620 which by itself sells for about ten dollars less than the combo (when I bought it in Feb 2010). Total of eight programmable buttons. No lag. Very comfortable. A very good mouse ; The keyboard is decent. It has...

Worth it

All in all, product worth the money (seventy). Exactly what I needed/wanted for my living room setup. If I need to play frag games I can always plug the wired mouse back in but that's only so often. I think most people will be happy with how sleek the...

Sleek looking. Functional out of the box (in Ubuntu). Comes with 4 duracell batteries. Standard layout keyboard (not scrunched like a laptop) so I don't have to relearn typing. Laser mouse

Mouse _is_ very very fast. I scaled sensitivity and acceleration completely down per the OS settings, and it's still very fast. So YES it is a real concern. However, at this speed, it's "doable", and I'm noticing I'm already getting used to this speed,...

good range and reliability

Very good for a media center PC where the you do not want wires running across the room.

Very good range keystrokes make it to the PC reliably and consistently. Battery life is good too have not had to change them yet

None that I've seen so far

Umm well

Mouse is very nice. Well built with good materials. Good range as well

Keyboard is DOA so the whole thing is farmed over for me. I'm sure it would have been a good setup but if the keyboard doesn't work it doesn't do me much good

Absolutely sweet

It's Logitech so you know it's worth your money.

Great price for a wireless keyboard/mouse combo. Good range. Realtime performance; no lag. Comes with batteries

Logitech Pro 2800 Cordless Desktop - OEM

Wanted to get the MX5500, but this was half the prince and i just wanted range. It's for a bed room with a 46" and a bed at the other end, about 20 ft, works great! NO LAG!

No setup needed, very good range, quick, works well in gaming and media, just plain great

Pretty decent, could be cheaper

The keyboard and mouse do work without SetPoint, but the software is required to remap the few customizable buttons and get battery-life. Since Mouse buttons that would normally be #6-8 aren't really configurable/detectable in games, gamers should...

Long battery life ; Range on the keyboard is actually fairly good, despite some connectivity problems further away (occasional signal drops) ; Mouse is responsive and lag-free ; When the keyboard does lag, it seems to buffer keystrokes for when it...

Had to purchase a USB extender to improve connectivity (signal was dropping) BUT: I live in an area with a lot of 2.4GHz traffic, so that may have contributed ; Keyboard input seems to be a tiny bit lagged sometimes ; Even with SetPoint, media control...

The only one to buy

Great set of keyboard and mouse, I especially like the switch in the back of the mouse that lets you choose what kind of scroll wheel you like. It's cheap, but not cheap looking and the tiny usb receiver makes the whole deal super sweet for a NO CABLE...

Solid, simple and beautiful design ; Tiny USB receiver (no cables at all!) ; High quality mouse

By this point they should be able to lower the price a little more I think

NOT for Gaming, Typical Wireless KB Response, Nice Mouse

Claims to not need SetPoint, but I already had it installed and can't comment.

Registers 6 keys at once! (verified with a utility) That's a dream for gamers if the kb didn't lag (see below)

Only slightly improved key lag, which ticks me off and I'll tell you why. Logi is extremely tight-lipped about what tech is in which setup. Notice the 2800 and Wave Pro both claim "Advanced 2.4ghz Technology" when other 2.4ghz setups don't. This...
