I wouldn't buy it again just because it was cheep.

The Price

Sometimes it doesn't like to be switched between the regular and the gaming keyboards. Tends to stick and some keys don't work until I bang on it...not good.... but you get what you pay for I guess

another cheapo

The RMA process was Painfully SLOW.my rma was transferred to several different people, and on each occasion I had to explain the situation , upload invoice etc..did that routine like 10 times..Its such a waste of Time. Finally, It took a month to get...

The Pictures make it look a lot better than it actually is ; It was Cheap after the mail in rebate ; the ability to change 2 different types of key sets Gamer/Standard. Its a unique concept

Quality is awful. Cheap plastic. It started falling apart in about 2-3 months. You have to be Very careful switching the keysets. as, it so flimsy, one little mistake will cause clips to break off. several keys on the (standard) set stopped working....

So good, I got it again

I've used many keyboards, including mechanical and higher end keyboards, and I always find myself liking the customizability of the board, and easy access to clean.

Cheap ; 2 USB Ports ; Panels switch easily ; Labels below function buttons say what they normally do in programs. Good for beginners ; Very easy to clean. Remove overlay, blow or vaccumm, blow out the overlay, and done

Wrist insert pegs are brittle and easily broken. Broke 1 of my old one, but was my fault, and not worth knocking an egg off

cheap junk

the problem is that the key in-lay in the keyboards covers, don't just cover the keys, they remap the pads underneath the keys in hardware as well and if that part stops working the keyboard is history. for instance with the main insert the d key...

the butterfly layout keys

without any sort of mistreatment, the key mapping went nuts after about four months

great replacement for old merc

For those not finding a driver for win7 64 bit. The Steel site does have the driver available under keyboard/ zboard downloads..

Bought this to replace a 7 year old Merc because it has the similar gaming key layout. For $20 , it was a steal. the functions i need worked just fine with the generic driver in win7 64 bit. The keys feel more sturdy then my old merc

not really a con, but there are differences compared to the merc (spacing/button layout), so does take getting used to. The split spacebar is annoying

Software doesn't work

Keyboard kinda works as they say

The software to use all of the features isn't working on my windows 7 system. I have emailed support to see what they say. But well without that it's just a standard keyboard and not a gaming one
