Gateway E-6300

With its reasonably priced, ably performing BTX business desktop, Gateway's E-6300 ushers in a new era of quiet office computing.

Potent midrange CPU; BTX form factor reduces heat and noise, internal and external expansion options abound; excellent warranty.

Flat-panel LCD will add to the price; as configured, our test system couldn't play DVDs.

Gateway's new high-end office configuration, the E-6300, is well worth considering for its reasonable price, solid performance, and forward-looking BTX case design.

Review: Rapoo E6300 Bluetooth Keyboard for iPad

Rapoo's E6300 Bluetooth keyboard is billed as the perfect complement to Apple's iPad, with device-specific shortcuts, a slim profile and extended battery life, but the hardware falls far short of expectations.

Etched brushed aluminum is nice ; Key feel most reminds us of iBook G3 ; Cons: ; Rapoo's E6300 keyboard is available in for $49.99 from Amazon in ; and ; .

Too small for comfortable typing ; Slippery keys with near-zero pitch ; Two-tone colors clutter an already constrained design ; Rapoo's E6300 keyboard is available in for $49.99 from Amazon in ; and ; .

The shame of it is that Rapoo does make some decent products. The

Review: Ultra-slim Bluetooth Keyboard Designed for Thumb Typists

Small, lightweight keyboard is designed specifically for iPads. Well made. Offers function keys that can improve efficiency when typing.

Doesn't lend itself to touch typing due to location and size of some keys.

I do. It is well made and offers features that should please iPad users. However, I am only recommending it for those who do not touch type.

Rapoo E6300 Wireless Keyboard for iPad/iPhone

Tactile feedback in a portable form-factor., Very quick charge time for 2 months of use., Excellent connectivity and range., Easy and intuitive setup.

Larger hands may find typing difficult., Hot key icon labels are difficult to read due to size., Not all applications are designed to take advantage of the keyboard.

Looks great, that's about it

Sleek, portable, always stays cool - rechargable

Didn't work very well ; Lots of keys didn't perform like they should ; Bluetooth conn dropped frequently with no reconnect, had to restart the device

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Tiny, functional, sturdy

Paired successfully to the following devices - HP touchpad (webOS) - Viewsonic gTablet (CM7) - iPad 2 - USB bluetooth adapter (Win7Ent x64) ...

Touch-typing is possible but tight ; Very compact, metal underside feels solid and sturdy ; long run-time, packaging says one-month on full charge but unable to verify at this time

Overall key spacing and size is about 80% of normal, touch typing is a slight challenge but can be done ; Space bar using right thumb means reaching a little further left to avoid hitting the Command button ; Two-finger typing is better on this device...

This was a gift

the comments made to me were it is a bit small, but one can adjust to it, and it is easy to carry around.
