Razer DeathStalker Ultimate

The Razer DeathStalker Ultimate is the only gaming keyboard to consider, if you want to use Razer's Switchblade UI without shelling out the price of a premium gaming laptop.

Switchblade UI. Adjustable multi-color backlight. Razer Synapse 2.0. Fully programmable.

Mediocre keys. Pricey.

Razer Deathstalker Ultimate review

Can Razer's top-end board really justify that price tag?

Good integrated touchscreen ; Genuinely useful functions ; Stylish design ; Good build quality

Some minor bugs remain with touchpad ; Chiclet keys not to all tastes ; A bit pricey

Razer DeathStalker Ultimate Elite Keyboard review

The standout feature of the DeathStalker Ultimate is the Switchblade user interface, ten programmable LED keys and a 4-inch LCD multi-touch trackpanel built into the right side of the keyboard. By default the keys are bound to common tasks like logging...

Building a beautiful LCD touchscreen and ten programmable LED keys into a gaming keyboard is a neat idea, but in practice the Switchblade interface feels more like a gimmick than a useful feature. Opening apps like Twitter or Facebook on your keyboard...

The Razer Deathstalker Ultimate gaming keyboard

PC enthusiasts expect to pay extra for premium peripherals, and Razer's new Deathstalker Ultimate ($250) pushes that expectation to the breaking point by including a flashy new touchscreen interface that's unlike anything we've ever seen in a gaming...

Razer DeathStalker Ultimate review

The latest keyboard from Razer takes more than a few cues from the Blade laptop – but is that a good thing?

Ultimately, though, it is bit of an unnecessary gadget. It’s great on the Blade, where it’s more tightly integrated with the overall machine, but on a keyboard it seems a bit cludgy, not to mention excessive in terms of cost. $350 is a huge outlay for...

Great Keyboard

- Would you recommend this product to other people? I would, eventually Razer will figure the bugs out. - If given the choice, would you purchase this product again? I would probably, depending if somethings changed. - If there is something about the...

Pretty Awesome

I am a huge fan of multipurpose technologies, this is a great example of that, with built in UI and app launcher, that also acts as a track pad while my Ouroboros is charging (1 Year edit: I don't really use the Ouroboros wireless anymore, just a lot...

Great interface, comfortable wrist rest, quick and (mostly) easy to set up, responsive, quiet typing, and extremely multipurpose.

Not really much to say here, although it does seem a little light to me, I guess that's not even such a bad thing. Does seem to get dirty pretty easy though, and I did have to restart Synapse 2.0 a couple of times before everything was working...

Quality Parts, Horrible software

I want to emphasize that the Switchblade UI is USELESS - with the exception of a few apps (and I mean a few), most of the other apps are no longer supported. I bought this keyboard when i built my Dream gaming rig, figuring that it would fit perfectly....

-Slim Keys -Fairly Quiet Keys -Backlit Keys

-Customer Support is a Joke -The Software causes my BRAND NEW computer to run slower (if I turn off the software, everything runs perfect) -Switchblade UI is USELESS

Razer is a JOKE

Well i Bought this keyboard in Early 2014. From day one i had issues with this keyboard on an X58 computer. Primarily when direct X was launched, the Synapse 2.0 software would cause a massive memory leak and hard lock the system. I put in a support...

Looks Nice

Synapse 2.0 Causes Memory Leaks, Technical Support Ignores you for almost 2 Years. Then refuses to make it right because the Warranty has now expired while i was waiting on a response. I contact them 2 weeks after purchasing it.
