Works well . . . for a while

I loved this keyboard, but the C-keys never did work, regardless of driver updates, and the lighting finally just plain stopped after five years of use.

The adjustable backlighting is very cool, especially if you like to game in the dark. The key size is perfect

I never could get the C1-C12 keys to work, even after years of ownership. Admittedly, I have put it through a lot of heavy use over the past five years, but the backlighting finally gave out. For the money this unit cost me, it should've lasted...

Very nice gaming kb

I've had mine for several years -- no problems. I don't use all the programmable keys however, so my opinion relates to using it as a lighted, gamer kb for which it's great. I also have the Steelseries MERC Stealth. I wore the coating off the game keys...

Programmable array of lighted keys is great ; Easy to clean once a year or so. Keys are attached to a panel and come out as a complete unit ready to be washed. Then dry completely, pop back in and screw back together. It will be just like new. (Don't...

(Not really cons, but things that need to be considered before purchase and during use.) Very wide -- measure the area you have available before purchase ; Mouse may slide under edge on occasion because the programmable side keys are raised

Sweet keyboard! One of the best

Get this keyboard! My sister spilled a whole glass of water down it and I just shook it out and let it dry and it works fine! Except for the n and m key which some time don't respond but it's still very impressive!

Metal capped keys for durability, customize the color of key groups, macro keys, touch media control, double sided personality with the switching button, home key lockout in gaming mode

Not a con but it seems to collect dust a little faster then normal

Hate it

Programable colors are great, and a great board when it works

Have had nothing but problems with it since i got it. Returned it to Saitek becasue a whole row of keys stopped working they repaired and returned it to me only to have the same problem happen to it again a couple days later. Returned again and...

stopped working

Beware, don't buy it just cause it looks good.

great keyboard while it lasts

Keys are gonna go out on this bad boy. Its not a question of "If" its a question of "When". I have owned many Saitek Keyboards in the past and i have loved all of them till now. If you have had this keyboard more than 90 days, trying to get them to...

Beautiful keyboard, but...

After reading other reviews, I have learned that I am by no means the only person who has had this very issue with the Saitek Cyborg keyboard (having the keys stop working). It's a very pretty board and the lights are great, but there is no way I could...

Has multiple colors (red, orange, yellow, lime green, and green) for backlighting that you can customize different sections of the keyboard, and even use each color for a different section. Also, you can adjust the brightness of each lit area. Very...

I bought this board as my first gaming keyboard. I wanted to play with the C1-C12 keys and program macros, but the software it came with to do this was pretty confusing and I never did get the hang of it ; My major issue, however, was that after a mere...

A good buy

Overall a good buy. If I hadn't of gotten the desired results with the macro software last night, I would have knocked off an egg. Touch panel also works great. Make sure you install the software/drivers for the keyboard if you want the volume lights...

The lighting is awesome, especially in Cyborg mode. Red/Green look best on this keyboard. I thought that if I went overkill with the range of colors on my keyboard that it would look tacky, but it definitely doesn't look bad. Overall the lighting is...

Because of all the mixed reviews, I did regret getting this keyboard after purchase while waiting for it to ship ; My regret before receiving was due to the unpopular macro software of this keyboard. However, I did decide to experiment around with it...

great keyboard

Overall well worth the price, but the C keys and other 'gaming' functions the board is marketed for aren't that great, and feel like an afterthought. Definitely don't buy it for good response when touch-typing. If you're used to a nice buckling-spring...

The lights are nice and bright, easy to read if you're hunting for a seldom-used key in the dark. Touch-sensitive keybar at the top is very well made, incredibly responsive for that kind of interface. It's got a really star trek feel to it. The lights...

Took away one egg because, for such an expensive board, the key presses feel very squishy and do not give good tactile feedback. Some parts do feel kind of cheap. The C keys feel like they might break easily, as does the somewhat flimsy wrist rest. I...

Pretty Good Board

Overall I love the keyboard, I'm just upset that I can't use my space bar now, and I can't fix the stupid thing... I do recommend this board however! Great for many uses! Don't let my stroke of bad luck scare you away!

Good layout on the keys, great for World of Warcraft, or other programs with simple or complex keystroke combinations. Being able to customize the lighting setup is nice, especially setting the sensitivity, and the "light mute", as I like to call it

I have to paste in spaces manually at the moment, as my space bar has stopped working for whatever reason. I've cleaned out all the keys, and checked for any spills, but I just can't figure it out. I'm very unhappy with this situation seeing as how I...
