When mechanical gaming keyboard is not your cup of tea

Designed for comfort and usability. Non-mechanical, though.

SteelSeries Apex [RAW] Gaming Keyboard Review

Not everybody jumped on the mechanical keyboard's bandwagon. For those who prefer membrane models, the Apex [RAW] is an efficient no-frills product that sticks to the basics. The ease of programming and the key layout make this peripheral ideal for...

SteelSeries APEX [RAW] Gaming Keyboard Review

SteelSeries took the original APEX, stripped it of most of the fancy stuff, and now deliver the APEX [RAW] with just the essentials needed to dominate your game of choice.

SteelSeries APEX [RAW] Gaming Keyboard Review

With their 7G keyboard SteelSeries created one of the best mechanical gaming keyboards, in fact that makes it one of the best gaming keyboards, full stop. (Groan) The same base design was used on the 6Gv2 which was equally simple yet performed...

Steelseries APEX [RAW] Gaming Keyboard Review

Great design and build quality, Great macro options and extra keys, Software works with other Steelseries products, Nice typing action

Maybe a little expensive for some

At first glance, the Apex [RAW] is just another membrane keyboard offering little in the way of innovation and to some it may even seem a little expensive for what it is, but you really shouldn’t judge a book by its cover as there are many little...

SteelSeries Apex [RAW] Review

A purer, more refined version of the latest keyboard range from SteelSeries which is based on a membrane design; can it hold out against the competition?

Seventeen Macro keys ; Innovative Layer system ; Backlight ; Solid construction ; Good price price for feature set ; Excellent SteelSeries Engine software

Sorting through our opinions of the SteelSeries Apex[RAW] has proved to be a little more difficult than we were anticipating following a rather protracted testing period. Chiefly that's been because it’s difficult to assess the SteelSeries in isolation...

SteelSeries Apex [RAW] Gaming Keyboard Review

Apex - noun [C] /ˈeɪ.peks/ the highest point or most successful part of something.

SteelSeries Engine offers unlimited customization potential ; Attractive, low-profile design ; Anti-ghosting for 6 simultaneous key presses across 20 frequently used keys works as advertised ; Rubber feet are easy to change and offer excellent grip ;...

No customizable lighting ; No USB ports ; Glossy finish looks attractive but attracts dust and fingerprints within seconds ; The Apex costs only £24 more than the Apex [RAW], making it a tough sell

The SteelSeries Apex [RAW] is available for £55.99 inc vat.

Double type as other have had on this poorly refurbished product.

I have a Logitech G105 keyboard that this Steelseries was to replace because of the bigger size of boardd and keys. I will be going back to the Logitech keyboard as it types properly andd the software is a lot easier to setup for gaming. Steelseries is...

I like the big size that has some weight to it so it does not move around. Looks nice. It could almost pas as new except for some key wear on surface of keys. I like that the keys are more like a laptops keys in height being more flat.

The keyboard I have has a major problem with the "DD" key. As you can see, it prints double with a single press. Worthlesss to type on as you can see as it just double the "S" too. The software for the keyboardd has to talk back out to the internet,...
