The AZiO Levetron Mech 5 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard Reviewed

There is a lot to be said about the benefits of a good gaming mouse for your PC. But one aspect that seems to be overlooked in these discussions, is the pairing of the right keyboard with that gaming mouse. It doesn't matter how awesome your gaming...

Cherry MX Black switches for every key (except D-pad) ; D-Pad very useful in games ; Extra USB 2.0 port for low power devices ; Sturdy build quality ; Resistant to liquid damage ; Flexible key programming

Bulky design ; Number pad disconnects during windows standby ; Palm rest uncomfortable during long periods of use ; Audio knob not for everyone ; Multiple keyboard profiles can be cumbersome

The AZiO Levetron Mech 5 strives to be more than just a mechanical keyboard and goes the extra mile to give you more. The simple robust programming options of the software give it a lot of flexibility and versatility in and out of games. It just needs...

AZiO KB577U Levetron MECH5 Gaming Keyboard

Nowadays, it seems that the term "gaming" is loosely associated with cheap, low quality, general-purpose peripherals. What then separates the notorious gaming-grade products from the rest? Most modern gaming keyboards feature mechanical keys in an...

Simple, but good looking design ; Fully mechanical modular numpad ; Allows multiple height adjustment ; Dual function macro keys reduces the number of needed profiles ; MX black keys great for gaming and typing Cons ; Very large ; Marks on keys will...

Very large ; Marks on keys will start to fade ; Wrist rest will start to get smooth and reflective

The MECH 5 performs well in both gaming and productivity environments. In my opinion, MX black switches offer just the right amount of resistance for a good gaming experience. In typing large documents I never found myself double-typing any keys as I...

Consumer review (newegg.com)

Freezes - Must be hard reset often.

I bought one for my home office in my search for a durable, mechanical, and versatile keyboard. I've not had to look any further. I've had my home office one for 3 years now and still love it. I love it so much that I bought a second one so I could use...

Great Key Action - the clicky-click of the mechanical keys is wonderful, but not overly noisy ; Liquid Proof - Sadly I tested this by accidentally spilling Cola all over the thing. Was in the middle of PayDay 2 and was able to keep going. Removed all...

It's big, but I like my keyboards big. You'll just need to make sure you have a bit of desk-space ; Of the two I've bought, one shows an intermittent problem with the modular numpad. I have to disconnect and reconnect it, but it only does it once in a...

Fantastic for gaming.

Some things that are neither cons nor pros but deserve listing here. - Cherry Blacks (Don't quote me on this as I may be wrong.) Have the highest actuation force of mechanical keys. You may like this, or not. - It is a big heavy keyboard.Again, some...

Great Switches ; So many macros ; You never think you'll use a calculator button until you have it ; Allegedly liquid proof.(I am not gonna test it) ; Weirdly ergonomic ; Removable numpad.(You can hook it up with a cord still.)

It's not backlit ; Being not backlit, the keys will eventually fade

Best Keyboard I have ever owned.

Let me preface this by saying I got this keyboard on sale for $70, so my opinion might be skewed. That said, I have found no faults in this keyboard as of yet. It has responsive switches, the macros were a breeze to setup, and after I got used to it's...

Great Cherry Black Switches ; Easy to use Macros ; Removable Numpad ; The Calculator Button.(Surprisingly useful!) ; Adjustable Macros

Not Backlit ; Pretty Big

Great keyboard - Awesome Service

So this review was tough for me. I wanted to give this product 5 stars, I really did. However, upon spilling some water in my function row, my keyboard began malfunctioning. It was being recognized by Windows 3 times under different names and a fourth...

Detachable number pad ; Macros are easy but limited ; Windows on/off ; Volume control ; 4 USB ports (3 if you have the numpad in, 2 if you have the numpad and extra macros in) ; I'm a fan of Cherry Blacks so I like the feel ; Comes with USB extension...

Key caps are a little gentle, just don't remove them too much or harshly. They're rather good but my F3 connector broke (More on that in OT.) ; Macros are limited (Still want extra keys like my mouse has MOUSE_5 instead of just macros.) ; Slightly...

Great Gaming Keyboard

Very solid gaming key board. Have been very happy with it for more than a year.

The keys are great, Removable 10-key is a nice option, all the macros you could ever want, and most importantly its very durable, have had my kids banging on this and its still working like new

Not back-lit, for the money would have liked that option

A good keyboard

Nice feel ; Cool macros ; Love the detachable USB num pad ; Volume control on keyboard ; Good response time ; Rarely had any ghosting problems

Non light up keys make it hard to see in the dark ; Has ghosted a couple times ; Some of the white lettering on the buttons are fading where I frequently play, primarily the S, A, D, and SHIFT keys ; My saved configuration for all the keys and macros...
