Not Vista Compatible

 

Might work with other OSs, don't know, didnt try.

Looks good, nice size keys, two USB ports

Plug and Play, they work GREAT No cons. I paid a little more money because of the luck I've had with Toshiba Products. Ordered two of them and they work great

Well, maybe for After Effects

 

It turns out the After Effects problem is limited to keyboard shortcuts which play until the next keystroke (e.g., numpad zero for Ram Preview; numpad period for audio play). The terminating NumLock keystroke causes the preview to stop prematurely....

As a number entry pad for Excel, the keypad is probably fine. The lack of usability with AE is not Toshiba's fault. Probably every auxiliary numeric pad faces this same architectural issue. In the above a example, for example, AE recognizes the 0x82...

Reasonable size (not unnecessarily bulky), adds 1 port (uses 1, but has 2)

Useless for Adobe After Effects, which makes extensive use of keyboard shortcuts, some of which are unique to the numeric pad (and many of the numeric pad shortcuts are frequently used). When the Toshiba NumLock is on, the application sees NumLock...

Not so Mac-compatible after all

 

It might work with Mac OS 8.6 or 9, but it's definitely not compatible with OS X. In those applications where is does work, it causes a beep with every key press. In other applications, it just doesn't work at all. On top of that, support is not...
