very good and dependable but no key lights

 

I bought my neice a newer HP Envy m7 Notebook on for school in Dec 2014. I7 processor and backlite keys, I am jealous.

very good operation especially after I put that slow 750 GB HDD as data holder and SSD as boot, WOW ; long battery life so far after 3 years

the bios setting to switch the graphics adapter insite with bsod if set in wrong position, fair graphics performance for games

Big Heavy Laptop

 

Like having a portable PC. -They came out with the i7 version for small amount more but the video card is the best to get to max for gaming. -This runs EVE-Online fine and probably WOW but will bog down on FPS like Crisys 2. -Get the driver updates...

Big bright screen for watching movies ; Runs DX11 but slowly ; Decent speed HDD and good size at 750GB ; Included Windows 7 is good for start up with ability to do images of the HDD

Can't see the screen at any kind of angle but you can move it back and use a wireless mouse for two to watch ; Very noisey buttons on the touchpad mouse assembly again use external mouse or you will keep your sig. other awake ; Speakers and built-in...
