For the price; can't be beat

1. A point others have made is true. It does run a bit hot but I do not think it is a problem. In fact, it might be good in the winter for a little warmth. 2. I wish Gateway made this model with a smaller screen. It would be nice to get a nice...

1. For the sale price $399, this can not be beat ; 2. Webcam is sweet ; 3. Very responsive

1. The curser movement box on the keypad is sluggish. Often when trying to move the curser, the curser is not recognized by dragging my finger in the box ; 2. The curser movement box is to the left instead of in the center of the keypad. It seems like...

Nice for the Price

For the price, I paid $399 on sale at NEWEGG, I am very satisfied with this laptop. It has 4G of Ram and a decent processor, a 500G hard drive and a decent video card (again, decent for the price). With NEWEGG, no shipping cost, no tax...I love NEWEGG....

fast, good storage, 4G of Ram, low price, looks great, not a lot of bloatware

none so far

Good Product

I did a lot of research on the benchmark numbers of different processors and of customer reviews from other websites before buying this product.

For the price, the amout of ram, quality of the processor, and hard drive space were better than other laptops at the same price point. I have gotten it and played with it. It runs windows smoothly and would be great for managing photos, video...

Not for playing hardcore video games or heavy duty processing. But thats why its only $500 +- dollars. :)

Fair Laptop for Price

Got this for my dad, for movie, skype, web browsing. It should serve him fine.

cheap for fairly good specification (HDMI, 4G RAM, 500G HDD) Cover looks fairly nice

The fan noise or maybe the noise of HDD periodically starts, for no heavy load. Touchpad is on the left side, quite unconventionally (OK once used to). I need to install Windows 7 prof. The drivers on gateway site is a bit disorganized. There are lots...

Snappy but low quality screen

Speed is good, build quality feels fine for a laptop in this price range ; Not too much pre-installed junk-ware

The lcd screen as a bit of a screen door effect ; I have ~20/20 vision and it renders the system almost unusable for any extended length of time

So far so good

Bought this for 2 reasons, needed a cheap laptop right now todo work, job searching browseing ext. Just wanted it strong enough to have my laptop going while playing some tv shows/movies on the 22' 720p TV i have, all from 1 laptop. I'll post another...

It looks very nice ; Sturdy ; Doesnt hold fingerprints, texture on the outside to prevent it ; Fast enough for what I needed ; Taking a look at this computer out of the box compared to the 800$ walmart laptops, they look to be same quality, which is nice

Bloatware (not alot but still not a huge con)

Not too shabby

This laptop is fairly fast, has lots of memory, and the keyboard is responsive. It didn't come with a lot of preinstalled software, which is a nice change

Speaker quality is poor

Handy

Completely destroyed by eyes (Eye strain) but that's probably because I work at home and am staring at a different screen for at least 5-6 hours a day, so I won't take an egg off since it's not because of the laptop.

There's nothing that I can find wrong with it. It's quick, 64-bit (It came with), 4GB of ram, nice storage, nothing really fancy that would take up a bunch of power
